I decide to listen in on the conversation since it seems fishy for my dad to call, when he called us last night to wish us good luck for today.

"Dad, what do you mean they found more evidence on Jordan's case. They closed it" they reopened Jordan's case, there was no evidence found at the scene of the crime though… I zone out of my daydream when I hear ash coming up stairs. I run quickly into my room and randomly act like I didn't know nothing. I hear a slight nock on the door knowing it can only be Ashton because he lets himself in anyways. Ash sits on my bed with worried and sadness in his face. "Dakota, Jordans case has been reopened. The found more evidence." "what type of evidence ash?" i ask. "dad doesn't know but i have a feeling that it was the weapon.." he says giving me a hug. "dad said that paps were around at the time, so its going to be on the news." speak of the devil my phone starts to beep signaling that messages are coming through. I decide to open the first message

I look up at ash.. "Who would want to put in evidence unknown? Jordan's family put 100 grand up for anyone who came forward with information?" Ash says. Well I would do it unknown too, I mean what happens if people decide to come after you because of you having evidence hidden all this time? "Hmm I don't know ash.." I reply going onto the next text
