Chapter 8:

"Irwin, Ashton Irwin" 

"Down the hall, to the left door 602. His asleep at the moment but your aloud to go in." She speaks more friendly pointy to the right hall. Michael thanks her and we speed walk into the directions she had given us. Ending up right outside his door 602. Michael opens it and let's me in first. Soon as Michael shuts the door I look at Ashton's sleeping body. I run up to him hugging him slightly not to hurt his wound, I grab his hand and a piece of paper falls out of it. 

"Babe I'm just going to get us some drinks. Wanna strawberry shake?" Mike asks. "Hmm yes please. Can you get a lime for ash.." He smiles and nods his head leaving me and Ash alone. I open the note

There all hiding something about that night Dakota. -J ox

If there hiding something I think I would know, wouldn't I? Michael walks back in the room making me put the paper in my mouth. Yuck.. He passes my shake and kisses my check. I smile back and pretend to take a sip. As mike turns around to put Ashton's shake down and grab a chair, I take the paper out of my mouth and throw it into the bin. 

"How you feeling beautiful?" Michael asks. "Blank.. I feel confused really." To be honest that's how I feel not just about what's happened to my brother but all these notes about the boys hiding something from me is starting to freak me out real or not it's absolutely creepy. "Hey, his going to be fine. Don't stress." Soon as the words come out of his mouth I peak his lips. "Hello sweetie.. Oh Michael nice to see you again" I jump out of my seat and hug my father. Four weeks since I last scene him. I miss him so much. "Don't worry Dakota, I'm back now I promise. Work has made arrangements and moved me back over here." He smiles. "So Michael, have you been protecting my daughter?" Oh great I thought we were over all the questions asking game. " of course" "do you lov-" "DAD!" "Sorry sweetie" they laugh including Ashton. Ash! I turn around and jump on his hospital bed. "God I missed you. Don't ever. Ever, EVER do that to me again!" I warn him. "Alright no promises... Hey I got your text why didn't you tell me you left school early?" Ash asks. Really ash, right now in front of dad. I give him the look 'if we where at home right now I would rip your head off!' Look. 

"You weren't at school?" Dad asks. "Urh yeah I left, I wasn't urh feeling to well." I answer hoping that they would drop the topic. "Alright that wasn't true. Tell us the real reason." Ashton asks. Okay I'm going to rip your head off when were home. "I don't wanna talk about it." I reply. "YOUR NOT LEVING THIS ROOM UNTIL YOU TELL US. SO DAKOTA TALK!" Michael yells scaring me abit. I still don't want to tell them the real reason so I come up with a little maybe big lie. "Girls at school brought up Jordan! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED TO HERE!" I yell, aiming it towards Michael mostly. A nurse walks in and tells us that visiting times are over. "Michael can you take Dakota home, I have to grab my bags that I left at the office." Dad asks. Dad really now you? I'm not in the mood for Michaels crap right now I just want to go home and cuddle my big blue penguin who guess what, Luke brought me and sleep. "No problem" Michael smiles and takes my hand, which I pull rather to quickly away. "Babe I don't mean to yell back in there I just get worried about you and wish you would of told me." He speaks when were in the car. I don't answer him which causes him to start the car rather to quickly and pull out of the parking. As we drive back I grab my bag that I brought to the hospital and pull out my phone and read my unread messages

I smile at the message and reply thanks and go onto the next one glad to see it was from calum

From: Calum da sexy cash money 

Wanna have a sleep over? Luke is staying at mine so you can come and so can mike since I assume his with you. P.S using protection I hope  

I look back up at Michael and say the first thing I've spoken in the pass hour. "Calum is having a sleepover Luke's there and he wants to know if we wanna go?" I ask not looking up at my phone "does he have fifa?" He replies. "Well it's calum." I laugh and look up at him smiling slightly. I can't stay made at him his only trying to protect me. 

"Then yes, hey Dakota. I am truly door about before" he says pulling in my driveway. I kiss him for longer then I planed. "We should kiss like that more often." He replies once we pulled away, throwing a wink.  We get out and make our way over to Calum's, ill just borrow some of Calum's sister Mali's clothes. As we make our way over calum runs out and jumps on Michael. "Luke sucks at FIFA!!" Causing us all to laugh. We make our way inside I receive another message.

I give up on letting this person trick me. There my family they wouldn't  lie to me, would they?
