I'm not scared I mean I've moved so many times in my life and I've been to so many schools, but for some reason this just feels different.
Rolling out of bed I groaned, today was the first day of school.
I walked over to my closet and opened the doors thinking about what I should wear. It's august but still 80+ degrees outside. I chose an floral shirt and shorts.
I went into my bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Now what to do with my hair.." I decided to leave it down but pull back my bangs and bobby pin them.
Downstairs my dad was making a cup of coffee and Anthony was eating cereal. I jogged downstairs and plopped down in the seat next to my brother.
"Good morning!" I said cheerily to them.
"Good morning darling." My dad said pouring his coffee and sitting down.
"Why are you so happy? It's the first day of school." Anthony said in a tired voice.
"That's exactly why! I'm so excited, but nervous to..I'm excited to meet knew people but it just feels different this time, better."
We all finished our breakfast and my dad left for work. Anthony went up to his room to wait for the bus to come, and I made sure I had everything I needed for the day.
