OK, so if you ever saw my username, you would know that I am a proud Ravenclaw. But there is one thing that always bothered me, and it's this thought:
"The Gryffindors in Harry's year must have had at least a class with the Ravenclaws, right? Then how come Hermione is always the only one to know the answer?"
And finally I came up with a theory that I hope you will enjoy.

What if the Ravenclaws knew the answer, but didn't need to show it off? Because we know that Hermione nearly always got points for her own house when she answers correctly, but we've never seen the Ravenclaws winning the house cup.
And I've also read this headcanon the said that in the Ravenclaw common room each day the prefects put up in the signboard a riddle that you have to solve and KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
