Y/N messaged back as the girls and I climbed into the SUV, taking us to our hotel.

I messaged:

Me: Yes!! Definitely I want to hear all about what you're doing and how you are 🙈 we're touring the UK this week, i'm in London for the next 3 nights.

Y/N: No way! really? i'm in London rn for a few days 😇

Me: Seriously, we need to meet up 😀

Me: i'm guessing you know your way around London a little more than I do so message me an address. we can meet tomorrow at 11ish? and i'll see you there

Y/N: Yeah sure!

Y/N: [coffee shop address]

Y/N: I can't wait to see you, Lauren x

Me: Thank you. Me too 🙈😇 x

I smile looking down at my phone as I close it. I can't believe i'm seeing Y/N, it's been 4 years. I wonder how much she's changed? If she went to college or not? What she's doing now?

It hurt me so much when she left, I wanted her with me all the way through these huge couple years of my life, unfortunately it just couldn't happen. The whole issue between Y/Dad's/N and my parents turned so toxic, with Y/N and I caught up in the crossfire. That ended our... whatever you would call our friendship.

Okay, I mean, we were each other's first kisses. It was sweet, we didn't know what we were doing but I sure did have a little crush on her all those years ago.

I smile and chuckle to myself feeling the nostalgia.

I feel someone nudge my leg, I look across to see it was Ally with her hand resting on my leg. I pull out my earphones and stop my music.

"Hey, what are you so happy about? That smile isn't one we see so often, what's going on?" She smiles and catching the attention of the other girls. I smile more, getting a little embarrassed from all the girls' stares.

"Stop it..." I giggle as I can't stop myself from smiling.

"Oh my god! Did Ryan finally ask you out?" Dinah squealed in excitement. "He is so hot, damn you're lucky, Lolo!"

I frowned a little shaking my head at her. "No, Ryan will never ask me out, we're great friends, Dinah," I giggle as she turns disappointed.

"Okay then, tell us?" Camila said serious, "Please?"

"It's nothing much, I'm meeting my childhood best friend tomorrow after so many years of not hearing from each other." I said relieved. The girls say their 'Aw's. "Actually it's a huge deal, i've really missed her."

"Why have we not heard of her before?" Camila said suspiciously, I brushed off the uneasiness she was giving me.

Still smiling. "It's pretty messy to be honest. Our families had a major falling out over something so petty, causing Y/N's father to make her stop seeing me. We tried meeting up in secret but got caught and her dad sent her to live in Ohio with her brother." I clench my jaw remembering the night that I last saw her. "That same month I auditioned for the X Factor and well i'm here now, right?" I half smile at Camila. "I never felt like I needed to say anything. I guess I felt guilty about the entire thing, so I kept quiet and tried to forget about it... which never worked."
