"How much do I pay you?" I ask leaning forward to grab my money.

"An autograph will do, Miss Jauregui, my daughters and son are obsessed with you girls." The driver smiled at me through the mirror. I smile and nod in response, before signing the paper in the small diary he passed me.

"Here you go, and here is some money anyway." I said handing him back the diary with a £20 note tucked inside.

"You didn't have to, it was my pleasure, love." He smiled and laughed in surprise at my generosity despite what he said before. I frown a little but still smiled.

"I may be a 'celebrity' but i'm still a human in this society; I still pay for myself." I saw his facial expression alter into disbelief. "Also..." I quickly glance at his name on the tag in front of me. "Collin, call me Lauren."

"Well, Lauren, i've been a taxi driver for most my life now, i've driven my fair share of celebrities around London and you are the most down to earth person i've met. Thank you." Collin warmly smiled.

"Thank you so much, I hope you have a great day, also tell your kids I said hi." I smiled before opening the cab door and stepping out onto the not-so-crowded sidewalk, I close the door and watched the cab pull into the road. I slung my bag over my shoulder and pulled my phone out my pocket. I received a message from Y/N.

Y/N: I'm so sorry but I think i'm going to be like 5 minutes late x

I knit an eyebrow reading the message and smirk.

It's ironic how i'm early for once.

I look around at my surroundings, although not many people were walking the streets, I felt it was still necessary to put on my sunglasses to hopefully not get spotted; and also to mask the jet lag.

"Hey, Lauren?" I heard a strangely familiar voice which made my stomach flutter all of a sudden. I turned to see Y/N stood there wearing the biggest, brightest smile I remember so dearly. I gasp a short breath as I take in her beauty.

Puberty had been hella good to her.

"Y/N," I was so struck by her presence, I smile and pull her into a pretty long hug. She smells amazing. "Oh my God, I can't believe this." I said breaking the hug, Y/N held onto my hand. Her touch was warm and soft, I could have burnt up right there on the spot. Why does she have this effect on me?

"You can't believe this? I'm in awe, I'm finally meeting with my old best friend again, who looks really good in that outfit." She smirked, checking me out jokingly - I think. "I love that jacket."

"Aw thank you, Y/N, and you wouldn't love this jacket if you knew the price." I raised an eyebrow and laughed with Y/N. "I see you're still your charming self." I wink.

"Good to know you think so." She chuckles, that sound makes me so weak. She's still as cheeky as I remember, I'm glad she hasn't lost that trait. "It's cold out here, Lauren, let's head in." Her assertiveness just added to the fiery pit in my stomach.

She opened the door for me and we walked up to the dark wooden counter.

I stood quietly, observing Y/N as she spoke her order to the man behind the counter. The way her prominent jaw flexes when she talks; the small habit of playing with the ring on her pinky finger; I noticed a tattoo poking out from her turned up sleeve of her jacket and flannel shirt.
