After identifying the object, everyone eyes widened and their breaths caught. Carrie, at least the Carrie they knew, was not capable of this. Caitlin clutched her fiance tighter and quickly kissed him.
"Carrie, what the hell are you doing? Where did you get that?" Caitlin asked, turning to face her.
"Matt had it in his room. You can't do this to me, Caity!" she yelled.
"I haven't done anything to you. You're the one with the gun, you're the one who always takes things away from me!"
"This was my wedding! I told you that you two can't be together, I told you!"
"Why? What's so bad about us being together? Why can't I marry the love of my life?"
"Because, you have to marry someone else!"
"What?!"
"A while back Matt got in a lot of trouble with a gang. The leader said that the only way to clear Matt's debt was for the leader to marry me. But Matt refused and said that I had a sister and you will marry him instead. If you don't, he will kill me and Matt. But if you refuse and we kill you then... Let's say the debt will be paid," she explained with an evil grin.
Caitlin stood in shock for a moment. Tears streamed down her face and before she knew it a gunshot reverberated through the hall and she was on the ground. She smiled at her saviour for a second and kissed him one last time.
"Perhaps, I'll kill you both. After all, you're just like Romeo and Juliet. And we all know how that ends," Carrie taunted, aiming the gun at both of them on the floor. There was a loud noise. Not a gunshot and thump and there was the sound of someone falling to the floor. The couple looked up and saw Carrie lying on the floor, knocked out cold, and one of the guests standing behind her after hitting her around the head to knock her out.
"Well, this was certainly an interesting turn of events," the minister said.
"So, last time I checked you agreed to marry me," Barry said, helping Caitlin up.
"Yes, I did," she giggled and turned to the minister. "Could you marry us, please?" she asked.
"Very well," he paused. "Do you.."
"Barry Allen," Barry finished, clearly the minister didn't know their names. But why would he?
"And?"
"Caitlin Snow," she said.
"Do you Barry Allen take Caitlin Snow to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do,"
"And do you Caitlin Snow take Barry Allen to be your husband?"
"I do,"
"Now vows, who wants to go first?"
"Me!" Caitlin said. "I haven't been happy in a long time and then you came along and changed everything for me. You're the first person who's ever understood me and accepted me as I am. To me you're perfect and the short time we've spent together has shown me how much I love you. I never really believed in true love or soulmates or two people destined to be together but I do bow because you are that person and I love you, so so much, it's crazy and I don't ever want to live without you again. I promise to love and cherish you forever,"
"Now that will be tough to follow. Ever since I met you I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. About your adorable laugh, your beautiful face and body, how smart and intelligent you are and how much I love you. To me you're perfect and I can't think of a better word to describe you. All I want is for us to be together and I know that's it's been hard but I wouldn't want it any other way because then we wouldn't be here, right now, getting married. I promise to love and cherish you forever,"
"Does anyone have rings?"
"We have their's," Caitlin said, getting a ring.
They exchanged rings which were meant for Carrie and Matt but they were theirs now.
"By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may... okay you already are," the minister finished, noticing that they were already kissing.
