Before I say anything, I should introduce myself. My name is Erin Anderson, although I hate my name. My family all calls me Erin, completely oblivious to my hatred of that name. I like my middle name better than my first. My middle name is Casey and I just wish they would call me that. I've been called Erin for 13 years, so I guess there's no going back.
Another thing I hate besides my name is my dad, Pete. He's an abusive asshole. He's beaten me since before the apocalypse, and I think he beats my mother too. It pains me to call that monster my father. But like my name, there's nothing I can do to change it. I'm a weak 13 year old, barely strong enough to even talk to a person. There's no way I'll be able to fight off my father.
And worst of all, the world came to an end when I was about 11. It's not easy growing up in a world like this, but what else can I do? I just have to deal with it.
So yea, welcome to my messed up life.
(A/N) Ok so this was just an introduction to my character. I won't leave you guys hanging, so the first chapter will be up in a little bit. I just have to write it. I might do the first few chapters right away, just to get the story started, then I'll keep updating at random times.
