It was cold, but I liked how it felt. I opened my eyes, and found myself lying on the floor and above me was a blue sky, but it wasn’t the sky it was the ocean. I sat up and I found myself not having the need to breath. I stood up and watched as the bottom of a boat passed over me, and a fish swam by me. Then I heard my name. I looked around, but I was alone. Began to follow the voice, it was at the surface. I swam up the surface, and it was then I realized, I was holding my breath. “Meredith!” Hunter said from the pier. I smiled and swam over to him. Next to Hunter stood Felix and Dillon and just behind them stood Noah.

“Hey guys,” I said once I was close enough. I was kind of happy to be in the water, they all looked worried. I hadn’t realized how much I missed being in the ocean.

“Mere, you ok?” Hunter asked. I smiled.

“I’ve never felt better,” I said. They all let out a breath of relief. I looked over to Noah, he had blood on his shirt. I quickly went to the pier, but I didn’t leave the water. “Noah, you’re bleeding,” I said. Noah stepped over to me, and crouched down so he was almost eye level with me.

“It’s not my blood,” Noah said in a low voice. That was weird. They all looked at each other. Then a memory came rushing back. The truck hit me with immense power, and then I can’t really remember. I looked wide eyed at Noah.

“What....what happened?” I asked feeling a little scared.

“They found you,” Noah whispered.

“Let’s get you out of here,” Hunter whispered as he crouched down to me and helped me out of the water.

“Amazing,” Dillon whispered. I looked at my hands, I didn’t have so much as a scratch.

“This is weird right?” I said as I stood up.

“This is you,” Felix said. I nodded.

“Ok, uhm....so I got hit by a truck and I knew I flew in the air or something. What happened?” I said.

“Well, it’s fairly simple,” Hunter said.

“Don’t tell her,” Noah said. I raised an eyebrow. Hunter stepped away from me. “Think about if Meredith, you were there, you should know,” Noah said in his low voice. I chewed on my lip. “Just....close your eyes, and live the moment,” Noah whispered. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I opened my eyes and found myself looking at the Salty Shack and the four guys watching me from the window. Wait a minute, this already happened. I looked up and saw the truck going right to me. Then I heard the voice, just like I did before. I turned to run, but my feet were glued to the spot. I looked up and saw Noah running to me, at super speed the others were just barely running out from their seats. That’s right, Noah was a vampire and he was like REALLY fast. I looked over and the truck hit me, and I noticed, that the truck didn’t hit the breaks at all. I hit against the truck, bounced off the windshield and went flying in the air. I closed my eyes for the impact. Then I opened them again and I was looking down at my body. My fingers were inches from the ocean waves, but couldn’t quiet reach them. I was going to die. Suddenly Noah was next to me. I looked over my shoulder and found Hunter mumbling something as a crowd gathered around me. Dillon was running after the truck, as a wolf. Felix was mumbling something as he raised a hand to the truck. I looked back to my body and found Noah carrying me. “Leave her there, I have a potion that it’ll keep her from bleeding out until she gets medical help,” Hunter said. Noah shook his head.

“No one can do what the ocean can,” Noah said. Noah held me close and ran to the pier.

“You don’t know that for sure,” Hunter said as he ran after Noah, and pulled out a small leather bag and began to take out herbs and tiny bottles filled with liquids.
