Sam took my hand and dragged me to our favorite place.

The cliff.

We go here almost every day and spend time together.

I turned my head to see a beautiful blonde girl. She was grinning goofily at me.

"Sam! Why did you bring me here? You know how dangerous it is at night to come here! We might get caught! I know you don't care for your life, But I care for mine!" I protested.

She laughed while I narrowed my eyes.

"Dav you need to chill. Nobody will find us here." She said calmly.

I was ready to pull all my hair from my head but instead calmed myself.

"Then tell me, why are we here?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know."

"What?! You're insane!" I'm going crazy.

"Dav, you do know your father is the Alpha, right?" She asked plainly.

She's right. My father is the Alpha. But making him angry is one way to commit suicide.

"I know. I also know that if you don't follow his rules he'll be angry. You don't want him angry."

Sam rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

Enough of this shit. I'm leaving her.

"You know what? Stay here if you want to die. I'm going to leave and go back to my precious bed."

I turned around but before I can take a step, the pack's alarm was loudly waking everyone up.

I was glued to the floor and my body was enveloped with dread. Someone grabbed my hand and I was relieved it was Sam.

"What's going on?" I asked Sam who was pulling my hand.

"I don't know. Let's go there to find out." I nod my head and follow her.

The pack's alarm scares me since it means enemy wolves are here. It is rarely heard though. One time, it was turned on but thankfully it was by an accident made by a drunk wolf who was patroling the area. My dad was furious and punished him.

Right now, I think the werewolves living here will just assume it's another accident but I have this feeling that it is not. I hope it is just another accident.

Sam and I were running fast. As soon as we arrived my body became rigid. Tears were streaming down my face and my hands were shaking.

One thing is running through my mind–chaos.

Werewolves fighting one another. Growls. Howls. Tears. And of course blood. Death is everywhere and all I can do is stand and watch.

Instantly my body was filled with rage. Whoever did this is a heartless monster who deserves to rot in hell. And I am sure that he is all behind this mess.

I saw my father, the Alpha, fighting two wolves. He bit their neck and snapped it. Once he saw me, he moved his head to the side and howled. He wanted me to go to safety. I refused but he growled loudly making me wince. Before I could say a word, another wolf came jumping towards him. He looked at me in the eye and I'm sure he was pleading. I don't want to leave him. He is the only family I have. Without him, I'm nothing. With tears on my eyes, I turned around and searched for Sam. If I leave, I'm leaving with her. I wouldn't forgive her if she dies.

I ran and heaved a sigh when I see her alive. But annoyed because she was fighting a wolf. Why can't this girl just run and avoid fights?

I was removed from my thoughts when she was pinned down and bitten. Quickly, I ran towards the wolf who is hurting my bestfriend. Nobody can do that to her except me.

I stabbed the wolf with a knife until much blood is spilled. I threw the wolf and came near Sam. I was relieved that she only got a small bite. I helped her up but was interrupted by lowd howls that is enough to make you piss your pants. I saw wolves. Big and terrifying ones. We caught their attention and I instantly regretted why I helped Sam. Just kidding.

We were then left with no other option- Run.

Together we ran to the forest. Call me a coward, bruh I care for my life.

We ran so fast that it seems like we're flying. I noticed that the wolves were chasing after us so we ran like there's no tomorrow. And yes there is definitely no tomorrow if we don't run.

We changed direction to stop them from chasing us but, damn their legs are good for the Olympics.

My mind was telling me not to stop running or else my ass will get in trouble.
I took a glance behind us. My heart stopped for a moment.

THEY'RE ONLY A METER AWAY FROM US.

I did not care how close they were until my ass of a bestfriend tripped over a branch that made her and me fall down.

That's when I started screaming.

The wolves have cornered us and all I can do is breathe.

"Hi fellas!" They growled. I tried to be kind but it only made the situation worse.

A man walked from a tree and I can sense he's a pack warrior. I think he's in his mid twenties. He is atleast 6 feet tall. He has short dark blonde hair. His body is filled with muscles and his face is handsome and scary.

He came near us wearing a serious expression plastered in his face.

"Grab these two and bring them to the rest of the prisoners." He commanded.

"What?! We ran all way here just to bring them back?! Let's just kill them Jake!" Sam and I were quickly filled with fear.

Jake stopped on his track and turned towards them.

"Do you want die by not following the Alpha's orders?" His face was emotionless.

They shook their heads no.

"Very well. Go now."

They followed his orders and pulled us roughly.

"Hey! Can you be a little gentle?" He narrowed his eyes.

"You should shut your mouth if you still want to live." I gulped and nod my head.

We walked back to the pack. I saw my pack mates. Some with red eyes from crying. Some who are about to pass out. And some who were just silent, like they can't accept everything that just happened.

Some looked at me pitifully. I know I'm in a big mess but then so are they.

I fixed my gaze to Sam who was staring something in a distance with disbelief.

I followed her gaze and my heart stopped beating.
