"Alpha, everyone is ready." Nate answered obediently. I look over Luciano and he nods his head. I was curious when Nate said 'everyone is ready'. When he said everyone, does that mean my pack mates too?

I decided to pipe in. "Um... What do you mean by 'everyone is ready'?" I asked quietly, but my anger was about to be released.

Luciano and Nate turned their heads towards me. "It means you and the rest will move in to our pack."

My eyes widen and my blood was boiling. I couldn't stop myself any longer.

"That's it!" Both of them were surprised by my sudden outrage.

"How dare you do this to me-to my pack! Do you think I had a good time watching my pack members suffer?!" I faced Luciano, my vision blurry from the tears that filled my eyes.

"Do you know how much it hurts to see the dead bodies of your loved ones?!" I wiped my eyes and I was very angry when I saw the expression of Luciano's face. Blank.

I'm pissed. I'm furious. I want him dead at the moment. But somehow, I couldn't. And that's why I'm angry and frustrated.

"You monster! You-You were the one who killed them! Why did you do this?!" Nate's eyes widened. He was about to cut me off when Luciano started speaking.

"You and your pack are moving in to my pack whether you like it or not and that's final." His deep voice filled with authority. Although I was angry at him for forcing us to move in, I was a bit sad when he coldly said it.

I decided to not use my head. "I won't. I will not leave my pack." With those words, his eyes became darker. Fear instantly envelope me.

Luciano stepped forward and stopped. He was right infront of me and I shivered.

"Never disobey me." As if my brain returned, I nodded my head without wasting a second. I still wanted to tell him that I won't be going anywhere but here but I kept my mouth shut, afraid of what to happen if I did.

His eyes found mine and I gulped.

"It seems like your eyes doesn't agree with you." I shook my head no.

He chuckled.

"Now, do you want to know the reason?" When the question left his mouth, I became serious. I think I could forgive him if ever his reason was good. But the fact that he killed my father will forever remain in my head.

"Yes." I spoke heavily.

He waited for a couple of seconds before speaking.

"I am not the one who killed your pack mates."

My head is spinning. I know I heard him wrong. He did not killed my father? What is he talking about? He thought this was funny? It wasn't! I was shaking my head.

"Luciano, stop joking. Tell me the real reason." I glared.

His facial expression never changed. If he thinks I'll believe him, he's mistaken. I won't ever believe him. He fixed his gaze on me and began talking.

"Fine. The one who killed your father and the rest were Simon. He's the leader of the rogues. All I know is that he had a great hatred to your father but I don't know the reason why."

I was too shock to grasp everything he told me. Was everything he said true?

"But if you were not the one who killed my pack mates, why are you here?" I asked doubtingly.

"We're neighboring packs. We're the closest to yours. When we received a message that rogues were here, me, my beta and some pack members decided to help. I'm not that evil you know." He grinned.

I almost wanted to laugh with what he said at the last but my urge to laugh can't be compared to my sorrow. I miss my father so bad. Simon will pay for this.
I was relieved that my mate wasn't the one who killed my father. If he was, it might be hard accepting him. I just couldn't. I'm also thankful that he came for our aid, but a lot of question is still running in my mind.

"Luciano, I still want to ask you something."

"Go ahead." He replied.

"Where is Simon and the rogues?" I asked. I do not know who Simon is and I'm a hundred percent sure I'm stupid for not noticing the rogues. All this time, I thought the ones who were attacking us was Luciano and his pack but instead, they were the ones who came to help. Maybe it's because of panic.

"As you know, I came here late. My pack warrior came here first together with the others. I heard they managed to capture some of the rouges but unfortunately Simon was able to escape. Coward." But I bet he was not as cowardly as me, kidding.

Then I remembered the guy chasing Sam and I. Was he Luciano's pack warrior? Why did the other two guys wanted to kill us?

"Is Jake your pack warrior?" I asked. He was surprised I knew him. Of course I knew him! Without him, Sam and I would be six feet on the ground right now. Luciano stared at me, as if he was searching for something. He was clearly jealous. I rolled my eyes.

"He is. How do you know?"

"He was the one who chased Sam and I together with two other guys. And without him, Sam and I would have been dead." I said. Luciano's expression darkened and his focus on me tripled.

"Why?" He growled.

"Um... You see, when I was helping Sam against a rogue, they saw us and because we thought they were our enemies, we ran to the forest." I look at Luciano and he nods his head for me to continue.

"So... They caught us and he said to bring us to the rest of the prisoners. He may suspect us as rogues because he pointed us as prisoners. The other guys then became angry for not killing us because we gave them a hard time. He stopped and told them if they don't follow the Alpha, which is you, they'll be killed."

He didn't move, just blinked. Then he asked, "Who are the other two wolves?"

"There's no need t-" Luciano is damn scary right now. His face says he could kill an entire pack just by himself.

"I d-don't really know." I stuttered. "But everything is fine so just stay calm." I managed to smile.

I know my eyes are red from too much crying but somehow someone managed to plaster a smile on my face.
