You were in the kitchen making dinner for the mightiest superheroes in the the world. Whom you might ask? Oh right, the Avengers. And to your surprise your one too. How you might ask? Well look below...oh and also how you feel about a certain avenger that caught your interest.

How it all started

It all started where you were in California. In your hometown at the beach where you love to be whenever you want to escape reality.

As you were in your jean shorts and a navy blue v-neck shirt enjoying the breeze at the crack of sundown, you feel a presence behind you. As you felt uneasy, you had your gun behind your back or placed behind your shorts. Luckily, your were sitting really low behind the rocks where the oceans is far into the distance, so it's much easier for you to turn and hurt the person who seems to be behind you. In a swift motion, you grab your gun from behind you and point it at the person who seems like a threat to you. As you do, you realize it's the person you have been trying to avoid for a couple years.

"What the hell man, I could have killed you!" You say slightly angry but amused at the same time.

"I see you still have your skills intact Agent
l/n, it nice see one of my top agents greeting me with a gun pointed at my head" says the man in a long black cloak with an eye patch. Fury.

"What are doing here Nickolas?" You ask at the sudden turn out.

"Well since you have been working with us for years and decided to retire two years ago to live "normal life", I have a suggestion for you that you may like. And if you don't agree I will keep bothering to till you accept." He  says with an emotionless face.

" I left because I had to, and you know that. And I have always had a "normal life".......just with people that are stupid enough to be bad. Like the rest of the world is! So what else is new!?" I say with a hint of sarcasm.

"So what is this suggestion you think I would like?" You say questioningly.

"I have come here to offer a position for you to be part of the Avengers Initiative...and also no backsies." He says with seriousness in his tone but you swore you a smirk on his lips.

A grin spreads across your face and you playfully say,"Awwwww does my Nicky miss me?"

"Push it agent and you will not be offered again."

"So does that mean you are going to stop bothering me then?"
You say in hopefulness.

"No." He grows impatient and says,"yes or a no?"

I slightly huff. I mean it seems like an amazing offer and since I get to see my other two best friend assassins and I get to live the life with full adrenaline again, but with more danger, but then again I don't want to leave my life as a librarian though, I love books..

"Depends..." You at still in thought.

"Do you really want to spend your whole life as a lifeless boring librarian?" He smirks at his question.

Sometimes I have the feeling to punch him.

"....okay fine I will." You finish

"Great, I wi-" before he finishes, you say,

"But under one condition..."

He looks at with irritation in his eyes

"I want full stack of books that I want, free of charge of course, ....and a library" you say hesitantly but hopefully.
