How you met: Steve pt.2

Your P.O.V

After flipping out on the one and only Captain Rogers, you storm off to your dear cousin Bruce or Robert since that is his first name and you like to go by the first.

Anyways, you are in the elevator with one other doctors and nurses. And you could basically hear them muttering to each other about what you did. You got fed up with the shitty gossip and yelled,"Can  you all shut up and talk about the stupid incident that happened later! But nooo!!!..... Do it in front of me!! Do you all not have dignity!?" You say.

The elevator stops and all of the employees stare at you in frightenment and disgust. Just because you stood your ground and "disrespected" the Captain.  I get it, he is a war hero but someone needed to do it. You honestly don't care if he has the "authority" to do shit to others but others have that too. Sometimes I feel he is slightly too self centered.

You walk to the operation room and find that Bruce is having surgery and they have already stitched him
Up. .....thank goodness. He will be fine. You walk in there and they tell you he will recover fine and they get him out of there and put him in the recovery department. As the others leave, you sit down on a chair and just wait till he wakes up.

*10 minutes later

"Ughh...mmmm..." Bruce stirs as he wakes up. You immediately hear him and jump up and down since he is the only family you have.

"Bruce are you okay..... You know what never mind....stupid question... Umm do feel slightly okay since the whole destroying thing and almost blowing up I guess..... 'I think that sounds more subtle'....." You say out loud.

"Of course it does... Makes me feel sooo much better.. Hehe.......... where am I ?" He says

-You face palm-
"Ohh, I don't know,.... Where do I work?... It's all a mystery Brucie??" You say sarcastically

"Ha ha, sure... Do that now......how are you (your nickname)?..... I guess you know what happened to me since I can't... Can you recall.. If you know? "
He says quietly.

"......hmph....well you were on a mission rechecking if everything went well so you can leave but apparently you did not so something exploded and you came here to treat you horrible injuries....and yeah.... That's about it...." You say hesitantly..

"What did you do?" He asks questioningly

".....I might have gone off on a certain someone...... Like Captain America..... Yup...."
You say

"You didn't...... We'll fill me in the scoop.."
He says

You tell him and he says," okay....."

You look at hm in shock

"So you are not mad??!"

He shakes his head.

"Okay well I will tell hem to see you okay Robert.? And I will check up on you later okay?"

He hums.

You really hope nothing happens down there when you get there.

Meanwhile.....

Stevens P.O.V.

I can not believe she just said that. She has the nerve to say that in front of me. My friend could be dying in that metal table and she comes to me just like that and I thought she was a kind woman that passed me everyday on my run.

"HIS GODDAMN COUSIN YOU IDIOTIC DUMBASS!!!"

But that same line keeps going over my head every second.

I turn to the team and I see them in distress. God I think I messed up real bad.
