I wore your shirt to bed with him
As I looked in his eyes
Every part of you was deleted
Lost in the candlelight.
I spent the words I saved for you
And I invested them in someone who cares
All these little things meant to be
Small crimes against you.
I let you go and forget about you
And give him a chance to prove me wrong
All along loving him
As a way of letting you go.
