Uh Oh - Norminah

Normani is going to kill me when she finds out what I just did. Actually scratch that she's going to fucking murder me when she finds out. I need to fix this and I need to fix it fast but how. As I was thinking an idea popped into my head.

Me: Lauren I need you!

Lauser: what's up D?

Me: I kind of did something against Normani's wishes and I need your help!

Lauser: well what did you do?

Me: come here and you'll see!

Lauser: fine I'm on my way.

Me: thank you so much! ILY

Lauser: yeah yeah ily2

I turned my phone off as I waited for Lauren to come over. I sighed as I looked at the ground, I can't believe I did this.

Fifteen minutes passed until Lauren walked into my house "I'm he-what the hell is that" she asked, shock evident in her voice.

I bit my lip nervously "uh that was kind of the thing that I was talking about" I answered.

Lauren sighs "Di I honestly don't know what you want me to do" she says as she looks down.

I started to panics "I need you to give me some advice" I said "place LoLo I need your help" I pouted. Lauren looks at me "the only advice that I can give you is to be honest with Normani, that's all you can do D" she tell me. I nodded my head because she was right.

After giving me advice we said our good byes and I sat on the couch trying to figure out how I was going to tell Normani about this.

I sat on the couch nervously biting my nails as I waited for Normani to come home. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard the front door open and close. Oh god here goes nothing.

"Hey bab-what the hell is that" she questions as she looked at the ground.

A nervous chuckle left my lips "uh his name is Bear. I adopted him today" I answered meekly.

Normani's eyes popped out of her head "you what!? Dinah we can't afford a puppy" she says.

I pouted "I know I'm sorry but I saw his little face and couldn't say no. Please don't be mad at me" I pouted.

Normani sighs "I'm not mad. I just-I just don't know how we're going to afford to take care of him" she mumbles.

I stood up and wrapped my arms around her waist "don't worry about it. I have it all figured out" I told her truthfully.

Normani looks at me with an eyebrow raised "oh really" she questions, reluctant to believe me.

I nodded "yep! I figured it all out yesterday when I thought about getting him" I told her.

Normani laughs "so you've had this planned out?"

I nodded "yeah. I wasn't going get him until your birthday but I figured why not get him as an early birthday present" I said with a shy smile.

Normani awes "oh baby that's so sweet" she says.

I blushed at her compliment "oh uh thank you" my voice was shy "would you like to play with him?"

Her eyes lit up as she nods before running off to go play with the small gray husky. Normani picks him up and cradle him in her arms as she ran her hand threw his far softly.

I smiled to myself as I joined them on the floor. When I saw the beautiful smile on my girlfriend's face I knew right then and there that I made the right decision I definitely made the right decision getting a puppy.
