Lauren and Ally have always been careful with keeping their relationship out of the public eyes. They kept the kissing and the hand holding to a minimum when they were out. They both just wanted their personal life and relationship private. Unfortunately a fan felt otherwise and decided to leak a picture of the two kissing backstage.
When the picture was leak they both didn't know how to feel. It wasn't like they were ashamed of each other, far from it actually. They just wanted their relationship to remain private because they felt that it didn't need to be in the public eye. Fame is already stressful enough on its own, a relationship doesn't need to be added to the mix.
Seeing the pictures all over the Internet and seeing what the fans have been saying was beginning to get to them. Although some were very supportive and positive, a lot however were extremely negative, mostly towards Lauren. Fans didn't think that the green eyed girl deserved someone like Ally and that was making Lauren believe it too.
Lauren has always thought Ally was too good for her but kept it to herself but seeing the fans saying it made her truly believe that the older girl was too good for her. She was starting to think that she wasn't enough for Ally. However the shorter girl made sure that Lauren knew how much she loved her and wanted to be with her.
And that brings them to now. They're sitting in their hotel room debating on whether or not to confirm their relationship. On one hand they want to so that they can put all the rumors to rest but on the other hand they don't because the pictures basically confirm that they are a thing. Eventually they decided that it was time to let the world know. With both their phones in their hands they decided to post it on Instagram.
