Good Morning?-Norminah

I was sleeping peacefully in my bed when I smelled something burning. I scrunched up my nose as I got out of bed and made my way downstairs. Walking down the stairs all I could here was a mumble of curse words coming from my girlfriend's mouth.

"Dinah what are you doing" I asked with a small chuckle.

She turned to me and frowned slightly "I was trying to make you breakfast in bed but well..." She trailed off as she gestured towards the burnt food in the pan.

I giggled as I walked up to Dinah, wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed her cheek "it was a nice gesture...even if you did burn the food" I laughed.

Dinah rolls her eyes playfully at me "you're lucky you're cute" she mumbles.

I smiled brightly at her "come on D let's cook breakfast together and then cuddle on the couch" I suggested. Dinah nods as she drags me farther into the kitchen. I laughed as I began making the pancake batter. I guess this morning turned out pretty well after all.
