Distraught and worrisome feelings ran through my veins as my eyes finally fluttered open. My vision was as blurry as a car window on a rainy day, and all I could see was a shadow of a man...
"You okay?" The man asked, clothed in a red sweater and tight jeans, gently reaching his hand over to mine.
Groggily, I took it, my energy empty making me almost feel lifeless, as the man lifted me up with ease.
He looks over to his golden watch laying on the edges of his hemmed sweater, allowing a harsh tsk to escape from his mouth before introducing himself, "My name is Jiyong, now could you kindly tell me, what are you doing here at 6PM?" with an irritated voice, his sweet facade disappearing as he harshly released the hold on my hand.
I closed my eyes for a second and tried to remember what happened for his benefit.
Mrs. Dahyun asked me to get something, then... Sagittarius, he... he
"Miss, I don't have all day." He raised his voice slightly, with one eyebrow raised, snapping me out of my trip to memory lane.
"I-I don't know..." I answered, tired of his rudeness, while looking down at the dusty floor, curling up the hems of my school blouse lazily in an attempt for entertainment.
"Worthless" he whispered, with a smirk etched on his face, thinking that I didn't hear what he said, as he continued. "Well Mrs. Dahyun asked me to see if you were okay, and seeing that you are breathing fine and-" he looked at me up and down with one hand resting on his chin "-uhh clean?" he snickered at the last part, making me flinch and took a look on my clothes, I was covered in mud, my white blouse turned into brown ickiness.
Great...
He gave out a pitiful chuckle which filled up the silence in the room for a while. "I guess my job's done here" he says showing off a smartass smirk before handing me over a new pair of clothes "Change" he whispers with a genuine smile making me question if he really is nice but then immediately takes it back with another smirk as he said "Or don't, I don't give a fuck." before walking around in the dark room.
"Nice meeting you, Jenna." He shouts gleefully before exiting into the school hallways, which were lighted up with blinding lights even at night.
I pondered around for a few minutes, thinking about who he was, both in curiosity and the laziness to stand up. What seemed really weird to me was, he knew who I was even though I didn't even tell him my name...
