[3 days later]

Peridot pov

I pushed my last box in the trunk of my car, I set my karate box in the front seat and close the door. I look up at my dads house.

He stood outside, leaning on the doorway, holding a bottle of booze in his hand.

Dad - good luck, fuckyDot

He threw the bottle at me. I cought it with one hand and gently places it down. He stares at me, more like glares at me.

I walk over to the drivers seat and get in. I turn on the engine and before I drive away, I look out the window and stick the middle finger out at my dad.

He seemed surprised. I laughed and drive away. Good bye, you son of Bleach.

I smirk at my pun and continue to look forward at the road.

Becah city, here I come.

Lapis pov

Amethyst - and he wouldn't shut up about how gorgeous he thinks you are

Lapis - uhu

Amethyst - he also said that you have pretty eyes and that he would like to see you in person again

Lapis - uhu, yeah cool

I was looking down at my phone. I was scrolling through peridots instagram... cause I'm a creep...

Amethyst - are you even listening?

I nod and look up at her, we were in my dorm, sitting on the couch.

Lapis - err, yes, but just in case, can you repeat the whole thing, just in case

She groans and leans back on the couch.

Amethyst - my cousin, Jasper, wants to hook up with you

I stand up, my eyes widen.

Lapis - what!? Jasper!? I'm not going back to him, ame, he was a jerk and he didn't care for me at. All.

Amethyst - he told me you were the one who caused you two to split

She stood up.

Lapis - yeah, no, he caused it, he abused me and that why I broke up with him

Amethyst - well why-

Pearl - amethyst! Are you in there!?

Pearl knocked on the door. I let out a long sigh and we both head to the door. I open it and amethyts steps out.

Pearl - amethyst, Garnet wanted to talk to us

They nod at eachother and run away. I groan and shut my door.

Oh lord, why is Jasper back...

Today peridot is supposed to come.

Okay, lapis, you can do this, just talk to him, no name calling, no teasing, no bad stuff.

I sta on the couch watching Tv for about two hours, and I ate lunch in between those two hours.

Maybe I could take a shower before he comes, I need to relax.

I walk in my room and grab some clean clothes. I walk into the bathroom and get a nice shower going.

Peridot pov

After about two hours I finally see the green sign that says 'WELCOME TO BEACH CITY!' in white letters.

I make my way into the city, looking around as I go. Okay, Now I need to find the- oh wait there it is.

I parked in front of the dorms and get out of my car, I grab my karate box and another random box. I walk in and emediatly get greeted by a cheerful lady.

She stands behind a large desk, a computer infront of her.

Lady - hello! Welcome to the Beach City Collage, are you here for your dorm?

I nod and she nods.

Lady - name?

Peri - Peridot Rhodalight

She nods again and starts to type something on her computer. She hands me some keys.

Lady - room 234, just down this hall

She points at the hall next to her. I nod and thank her. I make my way down the hall, boxes in hand. Once I'm there I set the boxes down and put the key inside the keyhole.

I open the door and pick up my boxes, I walk in and look around. I look in all the rooms, one is empty, only a bed in the corner, a dresser besides the round window, and a desk n' chair besides the door.

I walk in and set the boxes down.

I walk back to my car to her my back pack and the rest of my boxes.

Lapis pov

I step out of the shower and dry myself, I put on the clean clothes and brush my hair after drying it.

I walk out of the bathroom and notice that the front door is open. Hm? I walk over, I could hear footsteps.

A tall blonde walks in, carrying 3 boxes and a backpack. I step back and he walks past me. He glances at me.

He sets the boxes down in the empty room. Now his of course.

He walks back over to me. We stare at eachother.

Peri - hi, my name is Peridot

He stick his hand out for me to shake, I slowly took his hand and after a second let go.

Lapis - you really don't remember me, huh?

He raises a brow and looks at me up and down, I smirk at this.

Lapis - checking me out now~?

He blushes dark red and looks away, he has glasses, his hair is spiky and blonde, his skin is pale and he has a bunch of freckles on his cheeks and neck.

He was wearing a green tanktop, with some khaki shorts and green high tops.

Lapis - I'm just messing with you

Peridot pov

I let out the breath that I was holding, my blush fading.

Girl - Lapis Lazuli

My eyes widen and I looked at her again. She smiles.

Peri - lapis?

Lapis - yeah! We used to go to school together since we were like 6, then i moved when I was 14

She looked up at me.

Peri - you've gotten shorter, and we met when you were 6, I was 4, we're two years apart

Lapis - oh right, and I know I'm short now, how did you get so tall?

She raised a brow and I smirk.

Peri - I dunno

I shrug and walk over to the door. I go back to my car, grabbing my duffle bag and last three boxers.

I walk back inside and go into my dorm. I shut the door with my foot, lapis is sitting on the couch, watching tv.

I walk into my room, I set the boxes down and sigh.

Hopefully sharing a dorm with her isn't going to be so bad...
