"Alex, why do I have to go as a grandma again?" John called out. It was his first Halloween with Alex & they were doing a surprise joint costume. "You'll see," Alex called back. He was just putting on the finishing touches. "Come on, we're gonna be late!" John called back. The party was starting soon. He tapped his foot anxiously.

Suddenly, Alex opened the door. "Ta Da!" He yelled. He was dressed in a cat onesie. "Oh. My. God. You are too precious. Kitten, this is perfect!" Alex smiled & gave his best purr. "Get it? You're a crazy cat lady & I'm your cat!" He had been planning this for months.

"I love it," John said, laughing a little. His curly hair was dyed gray & he was wearing a pink sweater with a flowery dress. The costume really was good. Alex was proud.

John looked at his watch. "We gotta go," he exclaimed. They got in the car, John was driving. They were driving to Herc's house for the party. It only took about 5 minutes.

Alex rang the doorbell. Herc opened it. He was dressed as a rapper. "Yo, Alex, John! You made it. Let me show you where the guys are."

He led them through the house crowded with people. John clung to Alex a little. This looked odd, as he was so much taller.

Eventually they got to a couch where Burr & Laf were. Laf was dressed as a large baguette & Burr was some sort of zombie. "How original," Alex remarked. He was just teasing. "Enough about our costumes," Laf said, laughing. "What are you two wearing?" Alex looked up at John, blushing. "Well, uh he's a crazy cat lady & I'm his cat. I came up with the idea." John smiled down at him. "Isn't he so precious?" He gushed.

Alex looked up at John. "No you are. Thanks for going along with this. I had no other ideas so I have no idea what would have happened. We could have ended up like Burr, as zombies. Seriously dude, you couldn't think of anything better?" Burr looked at him. "Halloween isn't my thing," he huffed. " Ok ok geez. I'm kidding," Alex remarked.

"Come on, John. Let's get some food," he said. He walked with him to the buffet. "Honestly though, thanks man. I know my ideas can seem crazy but thanks for always having my back." John smiled. "Aw I'll always be there, kitten," he smiled softly. "I love you," he said.
"I love you too," Alex said. He kissed him softly on the cheek.

((This is late, oh well.))
