"Got it." I said walking up behind her. She turned around and smiled at me as I handed her favorite pen back to her.
"I found it under the night stand."
"Sept, have I ever told you how much I love you?"
"Yes Jan, but if you want, you can tell me again." I said kissing her forehead.
"Oh really now?" She laughed,"maybe later."
"What's today's date?"
"Uh, its the second of May. Oh and its 1987 not 86."We sat down on the couch in front of the TV as Evangeline sat on my lap, opened her notebook and started writing her new song.
"What's this one about?" I asked playing with her long black hair.
"Us." She leaned back and looked up at me and smiled.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure." Her brown eyes looked at me and I smiled back at them.
"Why did you start calling me 'January' again."
"I don't remember."
