"We shouldn't have come here." I mumbled as I continued to fight back tears. "We lost two of our good friends." I hugged my book bag to my chest.
Toby had been smart and grabbed our bags before following in after us. I had all but forgotten about it in the thought of possible escape.
"Toby, Lets try and get out of here." Jackson whispered, his expression was one I'd never seen on him before. He looked like he was about to give up.
I knew we couldn't give up yet.

"There's an axe over here." Toby went over and picked it up, he judged the weight of it in his hands. "This should be able to break the window. They have to do the for fire safety purposes."
He flipped the axe over to the bottom of the handle made contact with the window, he threw his weight into every hit.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
There was no cracking sound nor chipping; It was odd.
I looked up at Toby, He was really putting all his strength into it. I could see the strain in his face.
The realization dawned on me. It was bulletproof glass no matter how hard he'd hit it, it'd never crack.
I looked back down staring at my hands, I was fiddling with the strap of my bag.
"Toby....It's no use." I began.
"No!" Jackson's cry interrupted me.
"Hey! Jackson be careful!" Jackson tore the axe from Toby's hands and began to hit the window with all his strength. The look of determination on his strained face.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS WINDOW?!" He panted as he stared at the window with irritation. Jackson tossed the axe in frustration. He turned back to face us. "Why the hell would they put fucking bulletproof glass in a basement window?" His tone was acidic.
Toby sighed and put his hands in up in front of him in defence. "I don't know...To keep people out?" He offered calmly.
"Or keep people in." The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them.
Jackson and Toby turned to me with deadly expressions.
"Why do you think that?" Jackson asked quietly.
I stood up and stared at my friends. "It only makes sense..."
My head began to pound. So I pulled the elastic out of my hair.
"Killer Animatronics...Unlocked window. Unsuspecting teenagers climbing through a basement window only to find it locked and the lock broken when they try to leave...It's a little too well calculated."
Toby's eyes widen in realization, "We're not going to make it out alive..."
Jackson punched a wall. His anger clearly bubbling up in an uncontrolable burst.
"WHY! You guys aren't supposed to be the ones to lose hope! We HAVE to get out of here! You can't just accept the fact you're going to die! JANE what happened to your fighting spirit? I thought nothing could stop you!"
I shook my head crossing my arms over my chest. I felt drained from all the death around me it was starting to take it's toll on me. "Jackson... this is different.."
He looked at me in disbelief, "BULL-FUCKING-SHIT! When were you ever held back by something!"
I started at him with a look of shock. He was right, I never have let things hold me back. I always pushed through no matter what the situation was. Jackson's face lightened slightly when he realized he struck home.
He turned his attention to Toby.
"Toby! You're the optimistic one! You've always looked for the good even in the worse situations! Where's my friends?"
Toby sighed.
Jackson's face fell of the anger and he could have smiled. He had gotten to both of us.
Toby walked over and patted Jackson on the shoulder. "You're right..."
I nodded in agreement. "You are right Jackson and just because your motivational speech, we will think of a plan B." I released a deep breath hoping I could get my remaining friends out of here alive.

I had pulled out a piece of paper from my bag to demonstrate the plan to Toby. I thought Jackson's plan was a good idea but we had to see it on paper.
I made a quick sketch of the upstairs of the restaurant that we know of.
"First," I put my finger up. "Toby, You'll put on the Freddy Fazbear costume. Jackson and I will be following you. Kind of like a fake animatronic shield.
Toby looked at me blankly. "Why Me?"
"Well I'm too short," I tapped my pen against the page. "Jackson's too tall,"
He sighed at the though of having to wear the costume. "Fine, Okay continue,"
"Second, Jackson and I will quickly split off from you when we're close to the main entrance. Jackson will attempt to pick-lock the front door open. If that's unsuccessful we're pushing one of the old arcade games out the window..."
He nodded, but the expression on his face said he disagreed
"Next?" he asked almost sounding downright bored.
"You'll hear the breaking glass, bolt towards the doors. We'll jump in Jackson's car and finally be gone of this place. I refuse to let any more of the people I care about die here."
"Alright," Jackson nodded and let out a breath. "I guess that's the best course of action."
He guesses? He came up with it.
