After careful consideration—and remembering to take my medication—I had agreed to go with Jackson and Mike to scope out Fazbear's Fright.

As we walked down the street, I gripped onto Jackson's jacket sleeve as if my life depended on it.
I knew in the back of my mind my behaviour was kind of childish, but I couldn't help it. Jackson was my security blanket.
I scanned the street, seeing how in all those years how much this town has changed. Not that dramatic from what I could tell, but it was dark.

We stopped suddenly in the middle of the street. "This is it," Mike announced. We were stopped just outside the local amusement park.
My heart started beating hard in my chest as I turned my head slowly. I was gripping onto Jackson's sleeve tighter than before. Only to breathe a sigh of relief as I noticed the outside of this haunted house was underwhelming. The only indication that we were in the right place was the sign that read "Fazbear's Fright" in bloody looking letters. Under the sign was another smaller one that read "Open for the public Monday."
"So two days until it opens officially." I mumbled looking up at the building.
"It would seem so, I'm going to look for a back entrance. You two feel free to stay here if you'd like."
I nodded only glancing back towards Mike, "I'd much rather that, thanks."
Jackson squeezed my arm as we looked up at the haunted house together.
"It's crazy y'know?" Jackson muttered, "being back home after all this time only to scope out and try to close down a haunted house."
I shrugged wishing I was anywhere but here. "I just hope nobody else has to go through what we did."
I thought of Toby's face all those years ago. If we never adventured into Freddy Fazbear's would we be happy right now? Would we even still be together?
It was probably worse to think about what could have been than what is.
I gripped tightly onto Jackson. "Hopefully we can finally end this." I mumbled.

"End what ma'am?" A male voice spoke from behind me.
Jackson and I practically froze in our places gripping tightly onto each other.
"Loitering is against the law. I would like both of you to keep it moving or I'm gonna have to write you both a ticket."
We both slowly turned to face the police officer. "We're sorry officer, we were just reading when the haunted house will be open. No hard feelings?" Jackson gave the officer one of his kindest smiles but the he  wasn't having any of it.
"I told you kids to keep moving. So I expect you to keep moving."
I looked down at the ground nodding "S-sorry officer."
I tugged on Jackson's sleeve. Indicating what way we should go. "C'mon Jackson, let's go this way."

As we were about to begin walking the man stopped us. "Excuse me Ma'am but I'd like your ID's. Both of you."

I looked up at Jackson in a panic, but he only gave me a defeated look.
"Alright sir," Jackson pulled out his wallet and handed him his Driver's License.
The corner of the policeman's mouth turned up slightly. "I'll be damned.. Jackson Colt, and let me guess. The tiny brunette here is Jane Abernathy."
"Y-yes officer." I stuttered as my body locked into full panic mode.
"Why are the two of you loitering outside a Freddy Fazbear's themed haunted house?"
Both me and Jackson were unable to answer, looking at each other wary.
"We just came to look, closure for us I guess." Jackson replied, "We'll keep moving though. Have a goodnight sir."

Jackson began tugging me along trying to get away from the police officer.
"I think it's better if you two come down with me to the station."
Jackson stopped in his tracks and turned to face the cop who had grabbed his sleeve. "Why? We weren't doing anything wrong!"
I peaked at the man, his expression was hard.
"It's best if you kids come with me, before I call for backup and arrest you."

Jackson's face turned to stone and I knew what that expression meant, he meant to run.
"Jackson, no," I whispered, "let's just go to the station."
Without Jackson's reply I turned to the cop. "We'll come with you."

__________________________

The cop's car was just around the corner in the alleyway. We hadn't noticed while we were walking by. He opened the back door, me and Jackson slid into the small backseat. We glanced at each other as the police officer slid into the front seat, something hit me. He looks familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

We drove to the station in awkward silence. I held onto Jackson's sleeve still, he wasn't just my security blanket. He was my anchor to sanity.

Once at the station we were ambushed by two other officers, they aggressively ushered us to the holding cell at the other side of the station.
"HEY!" Jackson yelled, "We came to talk! Why are you doing this?"

They pushed us into the holding cell slamming the door shut. Both me and Jackson rushed to the bars gripping onto them.
The police officer who brought us here was on the other side, his face a mask of disgust.
In the full light I could finally see exactly who he was. Despite the wrinkles and grey hair he possessed.
"Mr. Woods!" I cried, "Would Toby really want you to do this?"

I felt Jackson stiffen beside me, he noticed it all too late. The man who took us into the station was Toby's Father.
"Don't bring my son's name into this conversation! You are the reason he's dead in the first place!"
I flinched as he said those words.

Mr. Woods turned on his heel in rage and stormed down the hall out of containment; leaving Jackson and I in the cold cell.

SURPRISE~
I bet some of you thought I was NEVER gonna write in this story again.
I wasn't but..well... I had an idea for it!
I also am planning on going back through sometime soon and tweaking chapters. So don't be shocked if you go back and the dialogue or placement of paragraphs is different.
It's still going to be the same story!
So no worries!
I hope to see y'all in the next chapter (whenever that will be..)
In the meantime feel free to check out my other stories.
Especially Midnight Love, it is not a fan fiction and 100% my imagination.

Brief bio for Midnight Love:
Jacqueline Clark and her friends leave their boring lives in Vermont to vacation in Georgia for spring break.
After getting dragged to the first party of spring break Jay meets a handsome stranger at the bar.
Little does she know he's a vampire.

I hope you guys please check it out. Happy reading!
