Dan was running fast. He still had a raging headache, but he had to run. I mean, he just exposed a lot of Pj to thousands of people. 4.5k, to be exact. He was running so fast down the block, laughing hard as a flustered Pj ran after him, holding a towel to cover his crotch.
"You muppet, what the hell did you do that for?" Pj yelled at him from afar.
"One thousand pounds, baby! Woooo!" Dan yelled, throwing his arms into the air in victory. With that, Dan turned a corner and lost Pj. Pj stood there for a bit and then turned back home.
"That cheeky little bugger..." Pj mumbled under his breath.

Dan felt free. He felt refreshed. Soon, a brand new dare appeared on his phone. The sound of the dare appearing was almost orgasmic to Dan. It was no longer about the money; it was the risk. It was the blood pumping through his veins when he did something mischievous. He wanted more. He wanted danger.
"GO UP TO THE ROOF OF THE SHARD AND LEAN OFF. £2,000"
Dan's smile slightly dimmed. That was the tallest building in London. He was a bit scared of heights, after what happened to his brother. But the watchers knew that. He licked his lips, and tapped his finger on in his thighs. After a bit of hesitation, he tapped the screen.
"YOU HAVE ACCEPTED. 15:00. 14:59. 14:58."
Dan instantly started to run through the crowds to get to the building. It wasn't too far from where he was. His breath quickened, and he was heavily panting. He'd done a lot of running today, and he wasn't at all physically active. He neared the front of the gigantic building. He slowed down to a walk, and then a full stop. He looked up. He could barely even see the top. He checked how he was doing on time. Ten minutes left. It was now or never.
He walked as fast as he could into the building and into a lift. He pushed the button to go up, and as he waited, he looked around. Not many people were in the building today, as it was Saturday. Anyone who was in the building was minding their own business, so sneaking onto the roof wouldn't be hard.
The door opened and he stepped inside. He stood in the corner and looked at the floor.
"Roof, please," he told the lift boy.
"What for?" He replied, pressing the button for the rooftop. The lift began to ascend.
"Why is it any of your business?" Dan replied, inquisitively.
"Daniel. What are you going to the roof for," the lift boy said sternly. Dan was shocked. He hadn't told him his name.
"Wait, how do you know my-" Dan looked up. It was Phil.
He was dressed in a red uniform with a hat on, and he was wearing posh white gloves. It was such a change from the bright, nerdy clothes he usually saw him in. But quite frankly, he was the last person he wanted to see.
Dan clenched his fists, but then unclenched them. Dan turned away, not wanting to even look at Phil. It's not that he didn't want to trust him; he really wanted to. He just couldn't. Not again.
"Daniel, I need an answer. Why are you going to the roof," Phil asked sternly, still not looking at Dan.
The elevator made a ding noise as it opened on the empty rooftop. Dan stepped out without a word, but he didn't notice Phil close behind him. Dan walked to the edge of the roof where there was a short railing and took in the view. He could see all the busy buildings and streets of London, just around mid-afternoon. His phone beeped at him, reminding him to hurry up. Thirty seconds left.
Without hesitation, Dan climbed onto the railing and swung to the other side. The sound of money cashing into his bank erupted from his phone. However, his Watchers were not satisfied.
"ONE HANDED. £3,000."
Dan couldn't give up now. He had to. Grabbing his phone in his right hand and gripping the railing in the other, he lifted the phone's camera to show the stunt.
Dan threw his phone into the balcony after hearing the money cash into his bank, but lost his grip on the bar. Then everything seemed to go in slow motion.
Dan was growing further away from his tether to reality and his body was slowly falling. He tried reaching for something as Phil began to reach his hand towards him.
Phil barely grabbed his wrist, holding it tightly. He pulled him up with all his might, Dan climbing into the balcony and back over the railing.
Almost instinctually, they pulled each other into the most heart melting embrace they have ever experienced. They treasured each other's presence.
At last.
They were at peace.
"Please don't go jumping off roofs ever again," Phil said, crying a bit.
"I don't think I can keep that promise, Phil," Dan said, wiping the tear that fell down Phil's cheek.
Phil looked at him worriedly.
"At least not with you around."
And with that, they shared a kiss. Not a lustful, animalistic kiss that they shared before. This one was pure and loving, filled eith child-like wonder. It was different. But they liked it.
"I will do anything with you. I will do anything for you. If we play this game, we will do it together. I will do crazy things, but as long as you're by my side, I am invincible,"
Dan walked over to where he threw his phone and Phil took out his own.
"On three."
"One."
The warm fire in his eyes melted his icy blue stare.
"Two."
The city lights in his eyes were colorful and inviting.
"Three."
They tapped their phones together.
"PARTNERSHIP CONFIRMED."
He finally had his lights back.
