I'm planning to sneak into Marnie and Ej's hotel room at 1:20am I stole their room card to access the room, normally Lindsey and everyone in this hotel is asleep, it's 1:0am right now so just 24 minutes to wait.

Elijah

"Marnie" I whisper yell as I lightly shake her "we gotta go now" I say and she rolls over and looks at me "what's the time?" She asks "it's 1am" I say and she's gets up and stretches she looks over to the corner of the room, "where's our stuff?" I throw her clothes onto the bed "already in the car" I say.

She goes into the bathroom to change and freshen up, I grab my coat, Do up the laces of my vans and put my phone in my pocket along with my charger.

She walks out the bathroom and I hand her, her coat, she puts on her shoes, grabs her phone and we walk down to the office of the hotel.

"Hey how may I help you?" The lady asks "we want to sign out" I say and she looks at me "room number and room card please" she says with a smile after "the room number is 24 and the card it in my po-.....shit"

"Marnie do you have the card?" She shakes her head "don't worry, we'll track it down" she says, she types a few things into the computer "it's in room 23" she says, that's Jacob's room "can you have security go up and get it please" I asks and she nods in confusion

The security guards come back down with the card and gives it to the lady, she looks at it then swipes it in this meter thing before putting it back into a filing cabinet "hope you had a lovely stay at star hotel you may now leave" she says

"Yeah whatever" I mumble as me and Marnie walk out, I unlock my car and we both jump in.

"Are you okay lijah?, you seem so worked up and rushy" Marnie says to me as I type in the address in the satnav. "I'm fine I just wanna leave this place now" I start the engine and we leave

20 minutes into the journey

"Marnie the real reason why I wanted to leave so quickly is because...that hotel brings bad luck. As you know this is my home town, this is where I lived until I moved to California after my mom died. That hotel is  the hotel my mom got killed in ....number 24 was her room number" I say as i stop at the traffic lights.

"We were in room 24" she says quietly "exactly, something didn't seem right, I could feel it, according to the news what time did you go missing?" I ask "2:24" she replies

"how old is Jacob?" I ask "uh he's 24" she replies

"What's Jacobs door number for his house in Cali?" I ask "24" she says

"Jacob killed my mom Marnie" I say as I place my hand on her thigh. She puts her hand on top of mine and our fingers intertwine "you made this decision for the better" she says and I nod "I'm sorry" she says "it's fine it's not your fault, your safe now" I say

So they wanna leave the hotel and get security guards at my hotel room door, I punch the wall " I wanted him to die in the same place his pathetic mom died" I say to myself evilly.

They've moved out of Cali to Detroit, they're in a hotel they Ej's mom got killed In, EJ didn't feel safe so he fled with Marnie, Jacob special sign of bad things is the number 24 understand yet ??????
