It's been 2 years since the war with the Flightless has happened. And many eventful things have happened. Several new Flyers have appeared. I've found some more answers about my past and being the only Redeemed Flyer. I've also become second in command. After the head chief. Oh and if you're wondering... Yes Cas and I are still together and happier than ever. Everything has been.. Controllable... To say the least. Now that your caught up let's continue.
I wake up to the warmth of the sun. I turn away and put my head against my body pillow. I snuggle close to it and sigh. I hear a low chuckle and my eyes open. "Morning sleeping beauty." I smile. Turns out my body pillow was actually Cas. I look up into his intense blue eyes. He looks back at me...not daring to break away from the moment we got caught into. "When I was carrying you...To this crazy new world with Flyers and Flightless.. When I laid you down in this exact bed and I saw your long hair hug your face...I knew instantly you were the girl I was willing to die for just to see you live." I snuggle deeper into his chest and he kisses my forehead. All I could think was Things couldn't be any more perfect.
If I only knew that sometimes.. The rainbow comes before the hurricane.
