Juni is a (now) 18 year old and was living alone because of past consequences. (which you'll find out in the sequel) She was captured by Cas and taken to a secret hide out of Flyers. Then a war engulfed their lives because of jealous humans that craved to be like them. Juni finds out she's one of the most powerful winged creatures to live and also a Redeemed Flyer. (A Redeemed Flyer is a Flyer who can heal itself and others.) Juni goes off to find out more about herself and finds her life in danger. Her wings get cut off and she finds herself useless and broken. After several days of doubt for getting better she finds herself on the battle field..wingless. When her life is at the end of a blade she finds something inside herself that was hiding until now. Her wings find their way back and she defeats the Flightless.
