*Salmon's pov*
As soon as I wake up, I change into my school uniform. I walk out and lock my door back.

"Leaving already Salmon?" Jay says as I stumble down the hall.

"Yep. You know I have to be at Cat's house in time to have breakfast and get on the bus!" I say.
I take a shaky step forward and fall. Jay catches me and helps me back to my feet. I always seem to have a lot of trouble walking in the morning. Maybe it has to do with not being able to see but it also could be a lot of other things. I this everyone has a little trouble walking after they first wake up though.

"T-thanks Jay..." I mumble. He pats me on the back and points me in the direction of the door.

"See you later fish girl!" Jay laughs.

I growl and walk out the door and quickly to Cat's house. She's probably already awake. As soon as I round the corner to her house, I sence her sitting on the front porch. I sit next to her and feel her tail lightly tap my back. I adjust my posture and eat the pancake she put in my lap.
Once I'm finished, I hear the bus pulling up to the stop. Cat leads me towards it and we sit in our normal seats right in the front. For most the front is a bad place to be, since the bus driver can see your every move, but Cat and I like it cause we are the first ones off! Plus then the bus driver doesn't let other students push us around or bully us. For the most part, Cat and I are friends with most of the school staff.
*Time Skip to after school*

School goes as usual. Cat and I always walk back to her house cause we have to ride a different bus home and can't sit in the front with all the protection.

"S-salmon..." Cat stutters

"Yeah?"

"I-I'm moving..."

"What?!" I scream and I feel her arm move from my back up to probably cover her ears.

"Y-yeah... my father got a new job and we are moving to Kereroo for it."
I couldn't believe my ears. I felt a hot tear fall from my eye.

"Please don't cry Salmon! If I had a choice I would never leave! Or better yet I would take you with me! But I'm sorry but I can't. I-I have to go now. I'm so sorry Salmon..." Cat says, obviously crying now too.
I turn sharp on my heel and run back to school. This can't be happening! I have one friend, besides Jay, and now she's leaving?! Suddenly, I ran head on into someone. I fell backwards onto the sidewalk.

"Better watch where your going, Salmon." I recognized the person I ran into as Jay.

"Sorry Jay, I wasn't looking where I was going... err, I mean, I didn't mean to run into you..." I stuttered.

Jay helped me up and I told him about Cat moving. I could still feel hot tears falling down my face, though I wasn't making any sounds. Jay let me into his car and took me back to the school with him. When we stopped I spoke up.

"Jay... I'm going out for a little. If I'm not back, I'm sleeping out on the streets somewhere." I said as I hopped out to go to the library.

"Alright. Don't get into any trouble." I heard him say.
I made it to the library and sat down in the seating area. Soon, I drifted off to sleep, still thinking about the fact that Cat is really leaving. Please... no...
