Chapter 23

"What am I doing here again?" Kuroko wearily asked Sakurai who was beside him, waiting for the others to arrive. If you are asking who are they waiting for, it's the GoM and Seirin. Kuroko groaned when he remembered his conversation with his unofficial lover

Flashback.....

"Kuroko, do you think that we could talk for a minute" Sakura said, tugging at the end of his shirt softly

Kuroko looked at her with confused eyes before standing up from the couch and leading Sakura to his room "What is it?"

Sakura took a deep breath and looked at Kuroko in the eyes "It's about your friends, the GoM and Seirin"

Kuroko froze and he took a deep breath "What about them?"

"Can you perhaps give them a chance" Sakura said, looking at Kuroko at the eyes

"Why would I do that?" Kuroko asked through gritted teeth

Sakura sighed "Because I think that they deserve a chance"

"And how would you know that?" Kuroko snapped, causing for Sakura to flinched away from him, he sighed and tugged Sakura towards him "Sorry"

Sakura sighed again and pulled back "I know that you're angry, but think about it.... okay?"

Kuroko sighed "Sakur—" he went to say when Sakura held up a finger "Kuroko, as much as you say that you hate them to the core of your bones, I know that those are just lies to help you bury the pain that they inflicted in you. You cannot lie to me Kuroko, I saw the way you looked at them when they went to visit me once at the hospital, you still care for them, but you're just afraid that they might hurt you again. Besides, from what I've heard from your story, the others didn't necessarily hurt you, Aomine-san was the only who verbally backstabbed you, and of course Seirin is also one of those people, but do you really have to hate all of them, just because of a mistake they never did intentionally? And besides, you gave Kagami a chance, why not give them one too?"

Kuroko went to open his mouth to retort back, but instead found himself agreeing on trying.... keyword trying on forgiving the GoM and Seirin, plus the fact that Sakura was giving the most biggest adorable puppy dog eyes anyone can ever see at him  "Fine" he said after a moment of silence "But....." he trailed off when he saw Sakura's hopeful expression. Geez, it's like she was the one Kuroko was going to give a chance to from the way  she smile so vibrantly at him "But what?" Sakura asked, her voice laced with sudden concern

"But, I will only meet with them.... to talk things out. And if it doesn't go well... then nothing, okay?" Kuroko said, looking at the relieved smile of Sakura. Why she wants him to forgive them is beyond him, but he guess that giving them a chance won't hurt him.

Flashback ended....

Kuroko felt Sakurai shrugged his shoulders at him, bringing him back to reality "Dunno, I'm just here because you dragged me out of my bed.... literally" he grumbled while glaring at Kuroko, still not pleased with the way Kuroko woke him up

Kuroko smirked at him and just rolled his eyes "Stop pouting man, and besides I need someone who can keep me from snapping when I talk to them"

"Who are we meeting?" Sakurai asked, looking at Kuroko with perplexed eyes
