Bella's POV

"So what should i go for? A jacket or a flannel?" He asked as he was looking through his closet. I swear to god this boy has more clothes than I do. And i have a lot.

"I don't know, I kind of like you in flannels cause you look cuddly but you look great in a jacket too" I told him my honest opinion and I watched as he put on a dark green flannel.

"Flannel it is then." He looked me in the eyes & smiled.

It hurts. It hurts that he's smiling for her. It hurts that he's trying to look good for her. & i will never be that girl for him.

"So uh where are you taking her?" I asked as I stood up in front of Jack. I tip my toes as I helped him adjust his collar. It has become a norm. I would always be the one to help him with collar, bow ties & ties.

"I was thinking Nandos since it's your favourite"

Nandos. My favourite. & he's taking her?

"Uh that's good"

"Look" he said as he took the bouquet of flowers, "i even got her flowers" he said proudly

"That's uh.. that's very sweet of you Jack. I'm sure she'll love you" who wouldn't love Jack? Of course, I made sure to mumble the last part.

"I think I better get going, I'm going to be late" he said as he stepped away from our small space.

He reached behind me to grab his car keys. I felt him placed both his hand on the upper of my head to bring my face closer to his. I watched as his warm and soft lips slowly made contact with my forehead.

I savoured the moment as I took a deep breathe in to help my heavy heart. "Be safe" i whispered as I pulled him into a hug. He merely chuckled and smiled.
