Street shopping

Chapter 20-








Shawn's P.O.V

"Well see yah" Matt said as the both of us walked out the door. We're going street shopping for the day and as a surprise for Matt I'm having Selena join us for lunch but she might be bringing Nash. Okay so I guess it's kind of a surprise.

We borrowed a car that Bart had got for us and drove to a near by parking lot. We parked and walked the rest of the way to the street we were shopping on. It's not to far away.

There are tons of random booths most with food and jewelry but there's a few places here that are selling thing for our gender and age group. There are booths selling T-Shirts and sunglasses, and now that I think about it I could use a new pair of shades.

"Hey Matt, wanna go tooo...." I started but stopped when I noticed he was no longer beside me, but instead over at a booth where a lady was selling jewelry. The lady handed him a thin long gold chain with a charm hanging from it. He mumbled something I couldn't understand handed her some money, and put the necklace in his pocket. I'm confused.

"Ummm Matt?" I asked coming to face with him.

"What?" He asked.

"What was that?" I asked him.

"I'll tell you later!" He said and we started walking down the street.

Matt and I walked into a nearby steak house for lunch; Selena's choice.

"Table for 4 please" I said to the lady at the front. She picked up 4 menus and motioned us to follow her.

"Why did you ask for a table for 4 people when it's only the 2 of us. Matt asked as we sat down!

"I invited some people, if thats okay?" I said.

"Who?" He asked.

"Heyy" Selena said from behind him.

"Hey" I said getting up to hug her!

She sat next to me and Nash sat next to Matt. Matt looked really happy when he turned around to see Selena walk in, but his smile faded when he saw Nash walk in behind her. He kept a smile on though.








Matt's P.O.V

Yes, Selena's here but she brought Nash along. Im happy shes here but bit so much that Nash is. I just have keep a smile on for her, plus how can I not smile when the girl I love sitting right across the table from me.

In the time of one hour, we were done lunch. Nash and Selena left but said that they'll meet us later.

"So, you wanna tell me now about the necklace, or whatever it is?" Shawn asked as we walked out on to the street this thing is open all day long.

I sighed "Kay" I said.

"It's a necklace with a elephant charm on it, it's for Selena. Christmas is coming soon so I thought why not we'll all be going home for Christmas anyway right? We both live in Virginia so I'll give it to her there" I explained.

"Really? Thats Nice. Good idea I think she'd love that!" Shawn assured me.

"Yah, you know the last three days have just been so great, we've been hanging out at that cafè drinking milkshakes together and having so much fun. At the pool we went down the slides a couple of times together. Her hands holding on to mine as we went down. The next day same we had a paint fight in the basement of the hotel it was so much fun. Then yesterday we went to the park and 'played' " I explained with the word played in quotations.

"You know Matt that's really great, but, when are you gonna tell her?" Shawn asked with a serious tone.

"I'll tell her when the right time comes okay?" I said.

"And when is that Matt? She could be scoped up by any other guy here and to be honest, I think you're the best one for her. But you're the only one who isn't trying hard enough" he explained.

"Shawn, I am though, I just want to become her friend first before I get any closer right! You'll see it'll work better that way" I said.

"Maybe but, avoid the friend zone Matt you don't wanna be put there by the person you like.., or love it's a miserable place!" He told me.

"You know your the only person who actually understands!" I let him know. He is the only one who understands though. If I told anyone else the feelings I have for Selena they would laugh. But they don't even know what love feels like and if they did they would know that I need Selena! I love her!

"I know because its happened to me before. Anyway, are you excited for Florida we're leaving tomorrow"He said exited.

"Yup I can't wait to hit the beaches!" I said. So it's happened to him before, maybe I should ask him about it... later!

"Yah nether can I" he said and we both walked back to the car.
