Angie sat in the passenger seat, whole body covered by the dark green comforter Robin kindly let her use. Tears ran down her cheeks and fell onto her bare stomach. After a few minutes of crying she sat up, adjusted her bra and stepped out of the truck. After looking around once more and still seeing nothing she decided to walk towards a group of trees straight ahead of her.As she came closer the sound of moving water could be heard. As if some animal was swimming across a river. As Angie walked through the trees, she noticed clothes hanging on one of the branches and straight ahead of her sat a small lake and in the center was Robin. Angie stopped right at the start of the water and watched as Robin swam on her back. “Um, Robin?” She said hesitantly. Robin stopped and looked at her. “Oh, Hi Angie.” She swam towards the edge and walked up to where Angie was standing. “Sleep well?” Angie looked down at her bare feet trying to be polite. “I-I guess, but maybe you should put some clothes on.” “Nonsense.” Robin replied. Angie looked up and made eye contact, then was immediately horrified. They were completely black. She turned around and ran a full sprint in the direction she came from. She could hear the pounding of footsteps behind her, she glanced back to find that it wasn't Robin anymore. It was on of the demons themselves. It was all black except for its eyes which were blood red. It had sharp claws that dug at the ground as it ran on all fours, It was three times the size of a normal dog and ran twice as fast. It was catching up. The demon clawed and the air around Angie’s legs as she ran as fast as possible. The beast swiped again and caught her leg causing her to fall. she slammed her head on a rock and was knocked unconscious. Whispering could be heard as Angie regained consciousness. She quickly stood up and looked around, she was standing in a room made completely of metal. Like a panic room for the president. She was wearing a red dress with a black bow that held her hair behind her head. The floor was cold against her bare feet, but she didn't mind. Angie strained to hear what the voices were saying but it was no use. She went and sat on a cushioned chair, which was placed in the corner of the room. She sat staring at what she assumed was the door. After a couple of minutes the voices ceased and the metal door was unlocked. The door swung open to reveal a short old man. He was wearing a button up shirt and pants that looked a little too big for him. He looked directly into her eyes as if he was looking at her soul. “You have a gift.” he said in a scratchy voice. “How did you get it?” Angie shrugged her shoulders. He narrowed his eyes, then smiled. “You don't know how powerful you truly are do you?” The man stepped out of the room and started to close the door “Don't worry you will.” He chuckled as the door slammed shut and the lock was set in place.
