Finally another Thursday and Friday passed and it was my favorite time of the week! Saturday! I'm not sure why I loved it so much, Maybe because I didn't have to work, or maybe it was because everyone was happy, or it might have been that I knew something great was going to happen some day on Saturday.

"Good morning Ruby," Dr. Hopper said with a small smile. In his hand he was clutching Pongo's leash. "Beautiful day."

"Good morning Archie," I replied. "Yes it is." Pongo barked loudly. "Hello Pongo." When I rubbed his head he became quiet and stuck out his tongue.

"Guess he really wanted to see you," Archie said with a shrug.

"Maybe."

"Hey guys!" Henry called from across the street.

"Hello Henry!" Archie called back.

At the word Henry, Pongo became excited again and jumped. The top of his head hit my noes. There was a cruch.

"Ow. Ow. Ow. Oh crap." I wiped a small line of blood from my noes. I could still feel it pouring out.

"Oh goodness Ruby I'm really sorry," Archie told me. "Pongo really likes Henry you know."

"It's alright," I replied, rubbing my noes. "He's just a dog. I got to go bye."

"Bye?" Henry asked. "But I just got here!"

I kneeled down and pat little Henry's head and sighed. "I know, but I got to go find your grandpa."

"David?"

"Yes."

"Oh he's right there." Henry turned me around to face a man's chest. I looked up into David's blue eyes and straightened myself up. The top of my head still was only level with his noes. "There you go now you can stay," Henry grinned.

"Ruby what happened to you noes?" David questioned.

"Long story," I frowned, pulling on his arm. "Come on." He didn't say a word and still stood there. I shook my head and the tugged on him with as much strength as a werewolf could conquer.

"Hello Ruby," David said, seeing as I had pulled to hard on a man who did not want to move and I had sent us both on the cold, hard ground. With him on me.

"Get off me David."

"Yeah," Henry agreed awkwardly.

"Oh alright." With that David stood and reached out a hand.

"I can stand myself thank you," I said. He took my hand and pulled me up anyway. "David can I talk to you?"

My fingers lazily flipped through the pages of the long book I was reading, and I eyed the pages searching for the right one. Then I found it and carefully read it out loud...but quietly. Just before I finished the last sentence on the page I heard a loud breeze come through the window. I jerked my head to see it was open.

"Boo," Hook said.

I yelped like a dog and smacked his arm. "Don't do that," I hissed.

There was a knock on the door. "Ruby, I heard a noise are you okay?" Granny asked.

"Fine," I told her, glaring at Hook who was standing still and holding his breath. "I'm fine. I just stubbed my toe on my bed that's all."

"Alright." And with that Granny was gone.

Then before I knew it, my toe smashed into the side of my bed and there was a crack. "What the hell!?" I yelled grabbing my toe. I jumped around and ran into Hook, and again, just like with David, I was on the floor with him. "This is the second time that happened today."

"Nice noes." his finger ran along the bridge of my swollen noes.

"Thanks," I said with sarcasm. "I got it from an auction for a very low price. Hmm, I wonder why."

Hook leaned closer, his hot breath fanning against my face, where my cheeks slowly turned from light pink to red and my cold noes became hot. "Listen Red," he whispered.

"To What Hook?" I asked.

"To me. Guess what I'm a pirate," he told me.

"I know. I'm a monster," I replied.

He lifted my chin with two of his fingers. "I know. I also know that you do love me. It's as obvious as my name. You're the one who said it was obvious."

"You're right I was." His lips met mine, and my dark blue eyes widened.

"Red!" I heard Granny call. "Where are you? What are you doing?"

Peter reached into the window and grabbed my arm. "Let go," I hissed.

"Pay the price," he replied. "One kiss."

"Red! Get in here!" Granny said louder. I looked towards the door.

I smiled as I turned back to Peter. Quickly I leaned out the window and kissed him. As I pulled away my smile grew, and so did his. He let go of my arm and I shoved it off the window seal, both of us still grinning. I laughed as I closed the shutters and heard him walk away. I locked it and turned, continuing to smile, then ran off to Granny.

I didn't know what to think, my head was pounding. I didn't know what to feel, I was numb. I didn't know what to do, so I pulled away.

"Hook," I growled, anger coating my voice.

"I'm really sorry Red, I didn't know what to do." Hook pushed me off of him and stood.

"Wait!" I cried before he could leave. I pulled him towards me and kissed him again.

His right hand fell to my waist and his left was in the air. My arms wrapped around his neck. His hot breath filled my mouth, it was nothing like Whale's, his was...boozy, and not like Peter's, not a bit bitter and cold. His was like nothing I've ever tasted, my new favorite flavor. I couldn't describe it. He smelled of sea salt, timber and cologne. His facial hair scratched my chin and cheeks, which burned red, but I didn't care. Hook's black hair was softer than fur and it was like he had done this millions of times, because he knew what to do. He placed his hand and hook lightly on my shoulders and stopped kissing me.

"I need to leave my love," he said sadly. "I'm sorry. I'll be back."

----------------------------------------------

"Regina? Yeah, It's Ruby," I said into the phone.

"Miss Lucas? Why are you calling me this late?" She replied acidly.

"I...kissed someone the other day."

"I thought Whale kissed you not the other way around." It wasn't really a question.

"He did. But I kissed someone different."

"Whom would that be?"

"Hook."

"You mean as in captain?" She questioned in shock.

"Yep the one that came to Story Brooke," I mumbled.

"Ruby!" She growled. "Please tell me this is some sick joke."

"It's not," I said sadly.

"Please come to my house...now." Then the line went dead.

I turned to look at my door. Granny would not be happy. It was dark out.
