Bewley's Hotel

"Lets go to Bewley's Hotel" I said . Nelly looked up with one eye open . "What if it still open" said Peanut . "Well , what time is it" asked Purry . "Not sure" I replied . "It's still open" said Roxie peering through the glass . "Lets sneak in" I said . Everyone gasped . "Follow me" I whispered as we walked . We walked into an alleyway . There were a lot of beer crates around . "Guys , help me stack these crates" I asked . Everyone pitched in . We climbed up . There was a skylight in the roof and it was over a wine cellar . "Perfect" said Roxy . "Yup" I replied . I looked around and saw a sweeping brush . "Wait here" I told them . I handed the brush to Purry . I climbed back up and got the brush . I turned it upside down and smashed the skylight . "Ok guys , hurry , they'll be onto us any minute" I instructed . They all jumped down . I lowered myself down . Off the wine cellar was a little store room . "Guys in here" I whispered . They crawled in one by one . "I'm hungry" Nelly whimpered . "We need to find food" Buddy joined in . Peanut snorted . I gave her a stare . "I'll look for food once the coast is fully clear" I replied . There was footsteps coming towards us . "Quick , hide" I whispered sharply . They hid under coats . They were lucky because they were small and could fit anywhere . The footsteps were coming closer and I looked around frantically . I saw another coat rack . There were plenty of coats on it so I'd be well hidden . The problem is could the rack take my weight . The door opened and I hoisted myself onto the rack . It moved slightly . I held my breath . The steps went over to Ernie's hiding place , I just prayed to God that he wouldn't bark . He didn't . I couldn't hold myself up any longer , I grunted with the effort . The person went out . I lowered myself down . "Kate" I heard Peanut whisper . "Yes" I whispered . There was silence for a few seconds . "Can we come out" asked Ernie . "Ye" I replied . They came out slowly . I opened the door slowly . "Wait here" I told them . I came out into the main wine cellar and it was clear . I motioned for them to come out . They all came out in threes . "I'm thirsty" complained Purry . "Well , you know what to do" I replied . "What" said Purry confused and angry at the same time . "Drink wine" I replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world . "For real" said Nelly said excitedly . "Oi , that's my line" I said . "Sorry" she replied . We all laughed . I took a bottle from a crate and opened it . I gave it to Buddy and he drank it . They passed it on . I drank a bit . "We need to sleep" said Nelly . "For real" I replied . "Ye" I giggled . We spread out around the cellar and had an hour of sleep .
