Travelling the World on Foot

On the way

I lifted the gang up one by one. They stayed and looked down at me. I grabbed onto the sides and tried to pull myself up . I suddenly felt weak but I kept trying . The gang lined up and grabbed onto each other. "Grab my hand" said Buddy. "I don't think you'll take my weight" I replied, nervously . "Don't be silly" he said. I grabbed his paw and they hauled me up. I hugged them when I got up. "Thanks guys" I said . Nelly laughed a bit . "Come on guys , we need to go" I said finally. We jumped off the roof and walked silently. We were all in our little worlds. It was peaceful walking at night. "Katie , what are we going to do now" asked Peanut. "We need a map" I replied. "Where will we get one" Peanut asked. "Shop" I replied simply. We came into the town. "Guys , hide while I get it" I said. "Ok" they agreed. I went inside and put it into my bra. I came outside and looked around. "Guys" I called , softly. They crept out , one by one. I laughed at their behaviour. They looked at each other to see if they did anything funny. "Lets get going" I said finally. I turned and started walking. "Wait for us" shouted Nelly. They ran to catch up with me. "Do ye have to do everything together" I asked. "Do we have to walk everywhere" Peanut shot back. I paused for a moment. I spotted a van that was parked. The backdoors were open. "Don't tell Freckles" I said sternly as I broke into a sprint. "Wait" called Buddy. "What are you doing asked Purry. "I think she is heading to that sweet shop" Roxy replied. "Em, something more exciting" I said. "Oooh" she said. We reached the van and I stood on the ramp. "For real" squeaked Ernie. I gave him a look for using my line. "Yes" I replied. They got in and a man got into the van. All the gang sat on the boxes.
