"I'm tired. Can we just slowly put the cleaning stuff away. I want to spy on the cute boys." Kie whines. I laugh and shake my head.
"Sounds like a plan. I'll sneak them back that way you won't get in trouble if we get caught. Which we won't." I say.
"Great. I'm the distraction."
"Don't worry, you're a natural." I say and wink at her. She shoots a glare my way. She walks into the room where Mrs. Chevy and the two family's are located. She leaves the door cracked enough to where I can get in. I gather the cleaning supplies and wait for my cue. I wait for a good five minutes before I hear a loud crash and people shouting. I rush into the room, open the janitor's closet, throw the supplies in there, and run out.
"Everly? What do you think you are doing!" Mrs. Chevy booms. I stop dead in my tracks and slowly turn around.
"I heard a noise so I thought I would check it out to see if anyone got hurt?" I ask more like a question than an answer.
"See me after this lovely family leaves." She says through gritted teeth, yet still managing to keep a smile on her face.
"Why? So you can just make me wash the floors with toothbrushes again?" She walks over and slaps me.
"You will not speak to me with so much disrespect!" She yells. I smack her back.
"You will not speak to me with such a tone!" I mimicked her.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!" The three boys shout. Their parents shush them.
"To your room, now! I am so done with you!" I storm out of the room and to the kitchen. Like hell I'm leaving without my food. Who does she think I am? I make it to the kitchen to be greeted by left overs. I grunt and walk up to my room. I see Caleb smirking at me. "What did you do?"
"It's too late," he says smirking, "I already ate your food." My mouth fell open and my arms crossed. "Boo hoo, why don't you cry about it?" I stick my tongue out at him and he jumps on his bed. "You're so childish." I just roll my eyes and lay down on my bed, thinking of my revenge. I close my eyes and wait for the ideas to come to me.
