It's 2:30 in the morning and Caleb is still awake. Maybe he wasn't lying considering his bedtime is usually 11:00 sharp. Kie and I look through the keyhole and see him walking towards the window. I open the door with the spare key I have and Caleb quickly turns around. When he sees that it's just us, he calms down and motions us over. I shut the door quietly and run to the window. Sure enough, there were 3 Gods standing there while lookin up at the widow. Caleb opens the window and stars to climb out. My eyes widen since we're on the 3rd floor and if he falls, he could break something. I let his crazy ass do it anyways.
"There's vines. Climb down on the vines." Caleb whispers to us as he starts to make his way down. I watch him as he swiftly makes it to the ground and bro hugs Ryan and the others. Caleb looks up at me and motions me to come down.
"Kieandra, if I die, just remember that I love you." I tell her and climb out of the window and onto the nearest vine. I start making my way down when I can't reach one of the vines. "Curse me for being so short." I mumble. I sigh and look to the ground. I'm pretty far up but if I fall I won't hurt anything. I sigh and let go of the vines. Before I could hit the ground, Ryan was fast to catch me. "I'm surprised you didn't tumble when you caught me" I say and he puts me down.
"You weigh as much as a feather." He smiles at me. I happily return the award winning smile and look up to see if kie was making her way down. To my surprise, she was close to the ground. I cock an eyebrow and watch how she drops off to the ground and dusts off her hands.
"Where to now?" Kie asks while smiling.
"I was thinking the lake." One of the gods ask.
"Sounds good. But we have to hurry before Ms. Chevy wakes up." With that, we're off and running through the woods. I'm grateful as I don't manage to fall or scrape anything while I was running. That's would've been embarrassing and that's the last thing I want. We come up on a well lit lake with chairs and snacks sit out by a fire. They were waiting for us. I smile towards kie and she smiles back. She starts to go to the lake and I run to catch up with her. I pick up a stone and throw it against the lake. It hops 4 times before sinking to the bottom.
"You suck." Kie says.
"Thanks for noticing." I smile at her. She chuckles and looks over at the boys. I see her blush madly and look over at the boys, too. They were shirtless and working on their pants.
"We're going skinny dippin." Realization hits me. Of course they're going to skinny dipping at a lake. Who wouldn't? Besides me. If my hair gets wet, it takes a lifetime to dry. It's just because I have thick hair and thick hair will do that to ya. I sigh and make my way to the chairs surrounding the fire. I stare at the shadows dancing on the trees from the flames. Kie sits on the other side of the fire and looks at me.
"Let's have some fun," kie says and grins evilly.
