Donna walked up the stairs to her daughter's room smiling brightly.

" Here we go one veil all ready for the beautiful bride to be"

"Thank you mama" Athena smiled as Donna placed the veil in her hair.

" I love you my sweet baby girl" she placed her hands on Athena's shoulders

Donna walked out the room heading downstairs, she smiles taking scarlette from Elena and the both walked down the aisle taking the seats.

One by one Donna watched groomsmen and bridesmaids come down the aisle taking their places.

She takes a deep breathe and stands like everyone else watching her first born baby walk down the aisle like she did when she married Stefan.

Stefan looked over winking and smiling at Donna when he saw her smiling and tears of joy were running down her cheeks.

As Stefan handed Athena over to Jeremy, he took his seat next to Donna. Everyone aww'd through out the vows being exchanged, the I do's.

Donna watched her daughter slip through fingers and become a remarkable young woman. Everyone cheered as they sealed their marriage with a kiss.

Everyone was enjoying the reception. Couples and children laughing and dancing the night away.

"Dance with me wife," Stefan smirked as he held out his hand to Donna

She placed her hand in his as he pulled her out to the dance floor. Stefan held her close to him whispering in her ear

"To lose one love to gain another" he whispers in her ear

Donna looks at him in as as he recited the words she once told him after the were married.

" Stefan.."

" shhh shh... you said those words to me after we're married" he kisses her forehead

"After you said those words you also said that you were happy to start our next chapter as a family."

" Yeah and I meant it, Our lives have also completely changed since we got married and after we got rid of Kol and Katherine, and had Scarlette." She smirks

Stefan shook his head laughing and kisses her cheek.

" I love you Donna"

"I love you too Stefan"

They both looked over and Jeremey and Athena. Athena looked over at her parents smiling she pulled away from jeremey headed over to her parents.

" I love you both" she hugged them tightly

"We love you too my sweet baby" Donna kisses the side off her head

" We always will love you Athena" Stefan pulled away from the hug

The watched their little girl walk back over to Jeremy.

After hours of fun and dancing, Watching the bride and groom share there cake. It was time to say farewell to them as they got to their Honeymoon.

Donna stood next to the door holding a small box for her daughter. Athena walked up to her with Jeremy

" Take care of my daughter Little gilbert"

" I will Donna" he snickers when she uses the nickname Damon gave him

Donna pulled her daughter into a tight hug. Then handed her the small box, Athena opened it gasping as she saw the spell and potion to help her have a baby

" mama.."

" Don't worry about it when you guys are ready you will have this" Donna smiles

Athena hugged her mother tightly before her and jeremey walk way into their car heading to the airport

" Making us grandparent already love?" Stefan smirks

Stefan held her from behind watching the newly wedded couple drive away. He hugged her close to him

" I love you too husband" Donna turned around kissing Stefan before he could say another word

Stefan pulled away smiling brightly at Donna pulling her up the stairs so he could ravish her for the rest of the night.

~With Damon and Elena~

Damon walked up to Elena wrapping his arm around her shoulder kissing her cheek

"Mini you is asleep upstairs"

"Well then what should we do now?" Elena smirks at him

" we have forever to find out" he pulls her close to him.

~With Caroline and Alaric~

Alaric and Caroline walked to their car to head home for the night.

" Ric you okay? You've been quite all night" She looks at him with concern

" Marry me" He turned his body and faced her

" You heard me right Caroline Forbes, I love you and our unborn child, so marry me?" Pulling out ring he had kept in his pocket

" YES!!" Caroline squealed while wrapping her arms around his neck hugging him as Ric smiled hugging her back

Bonnie closed the trunk of her car heading to the drivers seat to head home.

"Okay" Bonnie smiles at Tyler

~With Athena and Jeremy~

"So Mrs. Gilbert are you ready to start our next chapter?"

" Why yes Mr.Gilbert I am" Athena smiles sweetly as Jeremy pulls her close to him

"Promise me forever?" Athena looked at him

" Always and I promise" Jeremy kisses her before she could say anything
