Donna removed Stefan's arms from her and went downstairs to the back porch and sat down in one of the chairs. She pulled her knees up to her chest resting her chin on her knee looking the sunrise"I miss you mom...it's so different without you here".she went down by the lake at sat there with her feet in the water.

Donna sighs " When darkness falls upon your heart and soul I'll be the light that shines for you." She looks at the water then closes her eyes remembering her mother. "When you forget how beautiful you are I'll be there to remind you. When you can't find your way, I'll find my way to you. When troubles come around, I will come to you."

She feels two sets of arms wrap around her she opens her eyes and sees Elena and Caroline. Elena smiles "I'll be your shoulder when you need someone to lean on be your shelter when you need someone to see you through. I'll be there to carry you. I'll be there."

Caroline leans her head on her head "I'll be the rock that will be strong for you the one that will hold on to you when you feel that rain falling down when there's nobody else around I'll be." Donna looked down at her necklace that her mother gave her and tears start to fall. Elena pulls her close and rubs her shoulder "And when you're there with no one there to hold I'll be the arms that reach for you."

Caroline wipes her tears away "And when you feel your faith is running low. I'll be there to believe in you when all you find are lies I'll be the truth you need when you need someone to run to you can run to me" Elena looks over her shoulder sees Damon motions him over. Damon came over and sat behind Donna and places a hand on her shoulder "I'll be your shoulder when you need someone to lean on be your shelter when you need someone to see you through." Donna looked behind her at Damon and more tears fall, Damon pulled her over to him wrapping his arms around her holding her.

Damon closes his eyes "I'll be there to carry you I'll be there I'll be the rock that will be strong for you the one that will hold on to you" Damon see Athena having tears in eyes from the corner of his eye. He looks at Elena and motions her to go to Athena. Elena goes over to her and holds her. Damon lifts Donna head up and looks in her eyes smiling " When you feel that rain falling down when there's nobody else around I'll be I'll be the sun when your heart's filled with rain I'll be the one to chase the rain away."

Donna sees Athena and runs over to her. Athena runs into her arms wrapping her arms around her waist. Donna takes Athena up to her room. Stefan was about to ask what was wrong but Damon placed his hand on Stefan's shoulder stopping him.

Donna walked up the stairs with Athena. They get to Athena rooms siting on her bed. Athena grabbed a picture of Donna's mother and Donna. Donna tears started falling again. Athena placed the picture back and laid her head on Donna's shoulder.
