Stefan was in the kitchen preparing a big dinner for everyone. Donna was siting in one of the chairs that was in the kitchen watching Stefan cook.

" Taste this"

Stefan held a spoonful of Alfredo sauce up to her mouth. she took a little taste " mmm that's yummy" Stefan smiled and chopped up some fresh spinach and tomatoes and added them into the pot.

" So what is my amazing husband making tonight?"

Donna giggled as Stefan rolled his eyes playfully " I am making shrimp Alfredo" Donna smiled "Yummy, Well I'm gonna put this little monster to bed because she is gonna be up in the next four hours for a diaper change or food"

She stood up and kissed Stefan and headed to there bedroom to let the little one sleep. Elena followed her doing the same thing for her baby. Athena finished setting the table and help Stefan bring out food to the table.

" Dinner is served"

Stefan poured everyone a glass of wine. Donna and Elena walked into the dinning room smiling. Stefan pulled donna close to him " I love you" she smiled sweetly " I love you too" Stefan and Donna raised their glasses. Donna smiled at everyone " a toast to our family and friends and to the engagement of our daughter and Jeremy" everyone gasped while looking at the couple.

" Oh my god Jeremy why didn't you tell us sooner?"

Elena giggled as she looked at him. Jeremy laughed " I had to ask Donna and Stefan first before I even told anyone and I wanted the in laws to announce our engagement" Caroline asked confusingly " why was that?"

Athena smiled " Because they have always had to deal with news that was terrible an for once something good was happening I wanted them to say it"

Donna smiled brightly " To Jeremy and Athena"

Everyone sat down an enjoyed a tasteful meal and celebrated the engagement of Jeremy and Athena.
