Mr. Todd sat you in the chair, spinning it around. You quickly noticed the dark and gloomy room, splattered with dried up blood. You gagged, covering your mouth.

He hummed, and sharpened his blade slowly.

"M-Mr.Todd," you said softly.
"I lost my love, too," you confessed, inhaling and exhaling deeply. He stopped sharpening his razor for a moment, before continuing.

"His name was Jack," you added quickly. "He was shot dead by a man I used to be with... Then the man ran off here, to London..."

"That's why I moved. To find him," you said calmly against gritted teeth.

Mr.Todd stopped again, staring out the window of the barber shop.
"Do you seek vengeance?"

"... No. I want to confront him... I just want to know why he thought if he truly cared for me, he should kill the one who made me happy," you added.

"Do you know this man's name?" Mr. Todd asked, dropping his blade and walking in front of you.

"How could I forget? His name is Percy Sylvester. God, I have a migraine," you said, getting up and rubbing your temples. You remembered having to wash up the blood of your fiancé.

"... c'mon, (Y/N), let's go share a jug of gin," he said, bringing you out of the barber shop with his hand on your waist in a comforting way.

The two of you walked down, and Mr.Todd grabbed two glasses and a bottle full of gin, filling the two cups to the brim.

"Thanks," you muttered softly, sitting across from him.

"Any time," he said quietly.

"So... Tell me about Lucy," you said with a sigh, smiling softly at Mr.Todd. His lips twitched softly, forming into a frown.

"She was really something else... Always cheery, but realistic. She never was cynical, she was always optimistic about my problems," he said, smiling sadly.

"She had this beautiful, long yellow hair... and we had a daughter-"

"Ah yes, I saw her. She's quite beautiful," you said, smiling softly. He nodded gently, a soft smile on his face.

He smiled and sipped his gin. You took a small sip of yours as well.

"And your Jack?"

"Ah, he was quite the opposite of Lucy. He was always seemingly dark and gloomy, but when he was happy he was extremely optimistic and sweet. But just because he was dark doesn't mean he was mean- he was awfully sweet to me all the time. But he often thought violence was the answer if there was trouble with somebody else. He had these bright green eyes and dark hair-" you said, tearing up, before taking in the rest of your gin at once.

"God, I miss that man," you chuckled uneasily before smiling at the ground slightly before brushing your hair out of your face.

Mr.Todd nodded.

"What is Mrs. Lovett like? Do you think she'll ever return?" You asked him.

"Ah, I do not believe she'll return... But she was very talkative- as soon as I walked in here, she opened up to me. We had something for a while- well, she seemed to love me, but I don't really know about my feelings for her- they were quite complicated... But anyways, I grew very angry with her when she had turned out to lie about something to me..."

"What was that?"

"Another story for another day, love," Mr.Todd said softly, taking a sip of the course liquid.
