After a four days of lying in the infirmary, Lilly was finally granted permission to leave. Hunter on the other hand, was fine after a couple of hours of sleep. She had talked with her mother and discussed the idea of finally going to the Magic Institute. After many sessions of arguing her mother finally said she could go, but only under one condition. She had to stay with Hunter the whole time. Although he didn't really seem to mind.

The first day of school rolled around and everyone was getting ready. Uniforms, books and classes were already sorted out for Lilly. Her new dorm was average sized, neat and homey. Luckily though she didn't have to share with Hunter, unlike all of their classes.

The first lesson was Herbology, which was Lilly's strongpoint. Next was Transformations, which let's just say didn't go very well. The teacher ordered everyone to stand in a line and then one after the other transform. Everyone else seemed to do it so easily. With bunnies, wolves and even a Kagu bird from Australia. Then came Lilly's turn. She asked if she could sit it out but the teacher insisted on knowing what the new girl had in store. Sensing hesitation, the teacher explained the steps carefully. She followed them and tried to focus. Hunter looked at her, concerned. He had seen her true side when she was transformed.

Lilly's session seemed to go a lot slower than the rest. Her body was moving in weird ways. The terrible sound of breaking bones rang in the students ears. Lilly's new form was now present in the classroom. Her sleek black and white coat streamed over her strong body. Her shoulders and legs slim but muscular. Huge fangs protruded from her gaping mouth. Her tiger size was triple that of her normal self. The other students stared in awe. Watching her every move as she paced the room. "You can go back to your human form now Lilly" the teacher spoke up. Instead of listening the white tiger glared at Hunter. "Lilly, turn back now!"

This is when time caught up with reality. The tiger was now charging for Hunter. He ducked the first set of claws. After he ducked his new form appeared. A clear black panther. They were attacking each other but not savagely. Lilly was holding onto the little bit of sanity she still had left. The teacher was pushing the other students into the hallway. Letting the two giant cats fight.

Hunter was bigger and musclier than Lilly and used that to his advantage. He pushed her around and sometimes squished her with his weight. Finally after wailing around for ten minutes. Hunter got on top of her and forced her completely to the ground. Threatening to bite her with his sharp teeth. He knew that after losing a battle she would eventually turn back to a human.

They changed back simultaneously just as five teachers ran into the room. Hunter was hovering above her panting. Never had it taken that long to beat someone in a petty fight, especially a girl. She was barely conscious. He helped her up. They huddled past the teachers that were too focused on the amount of destruction the pair had caused to notice they left. Crashed in walls and claw marks all over the place.

That night Lilly had the best sleep she'd had in a long time.
