Chapter 8

Centuries ago

"Piper!! Piper where are you!?" Cried out a desperate Logan. "Piper, please... I need your help"  He says looking down at a lifeless camren in his arms.

"Logan, what is it?" Piper asked, coming into Logan's sight. She took notice of the lifeless body in his arm and immediately broke out into tears. "H-how did this happen?" She asked, helping Logan put her down on the ground.

"K-kris" was all Logan could manage to get out, due to his sore throat from all the crying and screaming he has been doing.

Examining camren body, piper looked to Logan.

"I might be able to bring her back," she says, pulling out things from her bag, that went unnoticed by Logan at first. "But I must warn you, bringing her back, a second time might change somethings about her" she warned him.

"I do not care at the moment," Logan says, looking at his wife, softly brushing her dull hair. "All I care about is camren and her coming back to me"

"Very well," piper says, setting up the material that she'll need. "Stand back" with a few incoherent words and a flash of lights. Piper was done.

"Why isn't she waking up?" Logan asked once he saw nothing had happened to camren.

"I cast a spell on her, that will bring her back centuries from now" piper explained, putting away her materials. "When she comes back, she will be different from what you know of her now"

"Will she still not know who I am?" Logan fearfully asked.

"Yes"

"Will she remember me at all?"

"Most likely.. no," piper tells her sadly.

"So she won't have any memories of me, of this place, or our lives together?"

"Her memory was wiped, Logan, all she will remember is her birth and memories from her childhood, which doesn't contain you," piper tells him. "When she comes through centuries from now, she will think everything that happened to her in this life happened to her in that life"

"I don't think I can live with that" Logan tells her, fearing what might happen to camren, if she was to be in a place that she doesn't know.

"If you want I can cast a spell over to as well" piper offered Logan. "It'll be the same spell as the one camren has, but you'll wake up before her, given that you are older"

"Will I still be me?"

"Yes, of course, the only thing that will be different is your name, your gender probably and since your abilities no longer exist, when you are resurrected your abilities will still be gone, and you will be a teenager again, same as camren," piper tells him, getting her materials back out, so she can cast the spell on Logan.

"Before we do this" Logan starts. "Our bond will it still be there? Will we still be drawn to each other, no matter what?"

"Yes, the bond between an alpha and his wife will always continue to be there, no matter what" piper assures him, getting rid of any doubts that he might have. "Unless, of course, they fall for someone else or if they never-"

"That'll not be a problem, we've already done that," Logan tells her, dismissing that subject. Logan confidently tells her. "Plus there's nobody else out there for me then camren"

"Well alright," piper concluded. "Now, I need you to lay down on the ground for me" doing as told Logan laid down on the ground beside camren, taking her hand into her own.
