(This chapter might be a little bit short, but I'll try and make the next one longer)

After the little history lesson I gave to the pack about me and my family, Sam and I cam to an understanding and he included me into the treaty that was between the Cullens and the Pack.  I am allowed to visit the rez whenever I want, as long as I don't invite cold ones on to their land.  Like I would.  I had a meeting with the elders in a few months to let them know that the elementals were in Forks and what it meant for everyone.  Mother and Father are invited to explain themselves as well.  After everything was explained, especially about Victoria hunting me and Bella, Sam decided to place protection detail on Bella and the Elementals agreed as well.  We would take turns.  The Wolves hunted the forest while we took the Swan's residence and switch back and forth for Day and Night.

Jake drove Bella's truck back to her house with me and Embry riding in the truck bed.  As soon as we pulled up, Embry jumps out and helps me out of the bed.  I couldn't help but laugh at how sweet he was.  He was a gentleman.

"Don't worry, we've got this place covered.  She wont get near you or Charlie." Jake assures her with a small hug as he walks her to the door."

Bella couldn't help but worry for him and the rest, "But you gotta be careful.  She's fast, you don't know, how fast she is."

Embry snorts, "You know, your lack of confidence in us is a little insulting."

Jake chuckles and sighs, "Alright, we better go."

Bella sighs, a little disappointed, "You gotta go?"

Embry and Jake both nod in agreement, "Yeah.  We got a vampire to kill."  Embry smirks.

Bella nods, looking down a little as she plays with her fingers, but when she looks up, she sees Jake sending her a small smile, then he takes off running with Embry in tow.

I throw my arm over her and hug her sideways, "Don't worry.  They know what they're doing.  And I won't let her touch them."

Bella sighs, "I know."  Then she turns to look at me, "Now, tell about turning into a wolf?" She asks.

I laugh and pull her into her house, "Well, basically..." I break it down for her as we walked into the house.  Telling her how I am connected to the animal spirit, the white wolf.  The White Wolf in legends is basically, the rarest wolf of all species.  It's a sign of leadership.  She didn't freak out too much when I transformed into the wolf in her bedroom.  We had fun just talking about everything.  But, I had to tell her the truth about how I died.  About Connor.  When I did, she couldn't help but hug me, and cry for me.  I couldn't help but cry either.  And she was shocked to see the blood.  After explaining to her that when an elemental cries.  We cry blood.

"So, that's why I never seen you cry."

I sigh and look down, playing with a string hanging loose on her bedspread, "Yeah.  I can't risk to shed a tear or people will know that I'm different.  I haven't cried a real tear since I died that night in the hospital."

She shakes her head in sympathy, "Kat, I'm so sorry."

I wave her off, "It is what it is.  It's how my life is suppose to be now.  But, It's hard."

Bella swallows a lump and sighs, I could see she was lost for words, or she knew I didn't want to talk about it anymore.  We said our good nights and I left to go home.

After the past few days, I saw less and less of Embry.  He and the pack were too busy hunting for Victoria.  Less seeing the pack, meant for Bella less seeing Jake.  And I could see that was hurting her.  She tells me sometimes she can still see Edward, driving up into the school parking lot, walking towards her and disappearing into the crowd.  I can see the pain in her eyes everyday.  Her pain brings out my pain for Jasper.  I want him back.
