~Present Day~
"I felt so horrible..." I said, looking at the trio and my brother.
Remus was looking back at me with sorrow in his eyes.
"Izzabella went everywhere looking for Remus, and even when people told her to just give up and rest, she didn't." Sirius said, kissing my forehead.
"Izzy, I am truly sorry for making you go through so much pain that day." Remus said. "It's okay Rem, it was after all, my fault." I replied.
"So, when I thought of the one place Rem would be, I ran out of the castle...."
~Past~
I ran out all the way to the Whomping Willow, I poked the knot in the tree's roots, transformed into a wolf, and quickly went through the secret passage way.
When I finally got to the house, I stopped and sniffed the air, hoping to catch the scent of my dear brother.
I quickly sniffed it out, made sure it was his, and started walking over to the stairs. I went up them quickly, but also silently.
When I got to the second floor, I stopped again. I sniffed at the air once more, and found the scent was coming from the room that was two doors away from me.
I trotted over, and peeked through a hole in the door.
I could see Remus near the window.
I turned the doorknob with my teeth, and pushed the door open with my furry head.
"Hmm? Oh....It's you..." Remus said, looking at me.
I turned my head to the side, confusion in my eyes.
"Go away..." he grumbled, looking back to the window.
I sat where I was.
I was not going anywhere without him.
"I said go!" Remus said, looking at me with anger starting to spread in his eyes.
I sat there, staring at him with my light blue wolf eyes.
He walked over to me, and grabbed me from my waist. He heaved me up into his arms, and took me out to the hall. He placed me on the ground, and pushed me forward with his foot.
"Go!" he ordered. I growled, standing my ground.
He knew I was stubborn, so he was ready for this to happen. He pushed me a little bit harder now.
I was getting angrier, so I barked at him.
He said, "Stop that! Now go! I'll talk to you when I feel like it!" and pushed me so hard, that I was sent crashing to the wall on the other side of the hall.
I hit the wall, and slid down to the floor.
I whimpered when I hit the ground. My legs hurt, and my back hurt even worse.
I tried to get up, but the pain was unbearable!
I stopped, and just laid there. I then moved my head so I could see Remus.
He looked back at me, with horror in his eyes. He suddenly ran over, and knelt beside me. The horror in his eyes mixed with concern when he got near me. He wrapped his arms gently around the middle of my wolf body, and scooted me closer to him, placing my furry head onto his lap.
I then felt something sticky come out of my mouth.
I licked it, and It tasted like iron.
Blood.
Remus noticed the crimson red substance slowly oozing out of the corner of my mouth, and he held me closer, whispering "I'm so sorry!" over and over again.
I tried to stand, and this time, I succeeded.
I slowly moved my head up to see Remus, who had tears streaming down his face. I moved my face closer to his, and started licking the tears.
He then placed his arms around my neck and hugged me. I placed my head on his shoulders, closing my eyes.
He let go, and I stood in front of him as a wolf. I then transformed, so I could talk to him.
"I'm so sorry Izzy!" he said, grabbing my arms and pulling me into a huge bear hug. I hugged him back, happy to have my brother back.
We stayed there like that for a long time, until I pulled away with streams of tears running down my face. "I'm sorry for yelling at you Rem! I didn't mean to do that! I was just so angry at finding out you helped out with that plan!" I said. "No, I'm sorry for what I just did! I could have harmed you more than I already did! Ugh! I just don't know what urged me to do that!" he said, looking at me with sorrow in his eyes.
We kept saying sorry to each other for a while, till I saw my watch said 9:30.
"Crap! We got to go back to the castle Rem! It's 9:30! And we have classes tomorrow!" I grabbed his arm, and we ran all the way to the castle.
We got to the portrait at exactly 10:00.
"Hmm? Why so late?" said the Fat Lady, opening the portrait for us to get into the Common Room.
I looked at her with a grin on my face, and said, "None of your business."
She looked at me with wide eyes, and scoffed at my rudeness.
I didn't mind that, I was too happy to say anything.
'Remus and I found the rest of the guys sitting near the fireplace, with worry on their faces. James looked up and saw us, and stood up and ran over towards where we were.
"You guys are back! We were so worried!" he said, hugging me.
"Don't hug me, I haven't forgiven you yet." I said.
He let go, and looked at me. "Please forgive me! I can't live with my best friend being mad at me! Please just forgive me!"
I looked at him for a while, analyzing his face to see if he wasn't lying about what he had said.
I sighed. "I forgive you." I said, smiling at him.
He gave me another hug. This time, I hugged him back. I let go, and saw Peter standing behind him, looking at me with an apologetic look in his eyes.
I sighed again. "Fine. I forgive you too."
He smiled.
Then Sirius came over, looking at me with a stupid looking grin on his face and worry slightly fading away from his eyes.
"Don't even ask. No. I am not going to forgive you." I said, walking towards my usual spot in the armchair closest to the fireplace. I sat down, and heaved a deep sigh of relief.
I had my brother back, and my best friends!
The guys walked over to their spots, Sirius glancing at me the whole time. It was getting late, but the guys and I stayed out here in the Common Room.
Soon, I started feeling very sleepy. I suddenly dozed off, strangely dreaming of the night before.
