A Huge Surprise

~Present Day~

"And so we finally got to Hogwarts. I can still remember that I was so excited that night, that I couldn't even sleep well!" I said smiling.

The trio smiled at my last remark, knowing how that felt. They then started asking me questions about the story.

We stayed in the living room for a while when Remus said, "Kids, how about you guys come with me to fetch some groceries? I have noticed we a running out of certain food." The trio replied with a yes, for they haven't been going anywhere for a while now.

When Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Remus left, it was only Sirius and I in the house.

"Sirius.........What did Rem talk to you about?" I asked while cleaning the kitchen table.

He looked at me with his silver eyes, and I noticed they were gleaming with happiness.

"Izzy, sit down please." he said while taking a chair out for me. I looked at him strangely, and sat down.

"Sirius......You're worrying me. What in bloody hell were you two talking about!?" I said with both worry and anger in my voice.

He sat opposite me on the other side and gently took both of my hands in his. Sirius looked into my eyes with a warm expression on his face.

"Izzy, I have been very worried about your health. So I decided to tell Remus about it a few days ago, and he had noticed you have been fainting far too much. He also noticed you've been rather sensitive over things, and very moody too." he said calmly.

"What!? What do you guys mean too sensitive and too moody!? I am not moody and sensitive!" I yelled angrily. I then noticed I had been rather moody lately.

"Ugh....I'm sorry for yelling at you Sirius, you know I hate it when people call me that." I said, looking into his grey eyes.

"It's all right love. So, when you fainted this morning I just had to discuss it with Remus, and we think we know why you've been so sensitive, and having mood swings, and fainting so much. We think you're....You're pregnant." Sirius said with a huge grin appearing.

I stared at him with an astonished look.

Was what he just said about me true? Was I actually pregnant?

"Wha-wha-what?......" I said blankly.

"Yeah, I know it's a big surprise for you. It was one hell of a surprise for me too." he said happily.

I just gazed at him, not sure what to say.

I then whispered quietly, "Are you guys sure? Are you guys sure that I am pregnant?"

"We are positive Izzabella. You have all the symptoms." he said, "Izzy, we are going to be parents! Aren't you.............Aren't you happy?"

"Happy? Sirius, I'm not happy...I'm excited! I'm going to finally be a mother!" I said joyfully.

I then looked down to my belly. It was thin as usual, but it had grown a bit. Though not enough for it to be noticeable unless you looked at it closely for a while.

I then slowly got up from my seat, and walked over to Sirius. I stood behind his chair, and wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him. I kissed his cheek and said, "I can't believe we are going to start our own family now!"

I let go of him so he could get up from his chair. Sirius took hold of my waist, and held me close to his chest. He then placed his lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck again, and felt so happy to be in his arms.

To think, I had to live twelve long years without him by my side. I don't know how I could have lived that long without Sirius.

We stood there, in each others arms. Just happy to be together. Knowing we were going to finally start a family like we always wanted to do a long time ago.
