I wake up and remember today is the party. great. I've never actually been to a party before, except for birthdays. I get up and go brush my teeth and hair and I notice my hickey is almost gone. I covered it up the best I can but some people still managed to see it and of course some people said stupid stuff but I don't care. I get dressed in a pair of skinny jeans, a grey polo tshirt and slip on my white converse. I don't really have time to do my make so I throw my mascara in my purse and head out the door.

As I'm walking out the door, of course jack is walking out also. He hasn't talked to me since his little outburst, but I see him jogging over to me and pull my arm.

"yes jack." I ask with an unamused expression on my face.

"I uh wanted to know if you were coming tonight?" he asks and looks around.

"yeah, I'm going with Tyler. why?"

"oh your going with Tyler, I was just gonna see if you wanted to go with me, not as a date but you know." he says slightly embarrassed.

"oh well I'm sorry but I'll see you there okay?" I say and smile

"uh yeah sure- hey do you wanna go eat breakfast?" he asks.

"I can't, I'm already running late." I say quickly

"late? it's 6:45." he says and looks at his watch.

"what? I could've sworn it was like 7:30" I say and look at my phone and it reads 6:46.

"nope, you probably just woke up early, so what about that breakfast?" he smiles and goes I link our arms.

"sure but am I not taking my car?"

"I'll take you home after school." he smiles and we walk to his car.

We walk into Huddle House and there's not many people there since it's so early. We sit down at a booth and order our drinks.

"So why all the sudden interest in me jack?" I ask while looking at the menu.

"I just felt like I needed to make up for how I treated you last year and some this year." he says and frowns a bit.

"oh, well it's okay the past is the past." I reassure him.

"hey I forgot to say you look good today." he looks up at me and smiles.

"really? I didn't even do anything to myself." I say and laugh

"You still look beautiful." he smiles

Did he just call me beautiful. My stomach starts tingling and I feel my cheats heat up. what?

"Well thanks jack that's sweet." I smile.

"hello welcome to huddle house, are you ready to order." I see this girl probably about 20 eyeballing jack. I snap my fingers in her face and she looks over at me.

"Yes I would like some French toast with bacon on the side please." I say and grab Jacks hand over the table.

I see jack glance at our hands and then back up at the waitress.

"I'll take 2 waffles and some grits please." he smiles and the lady winks at him and walks off. I let go off jacks hand and sip on my water.

"what was that?" Jack asks me.

"I just don't like when girls act like that." I say

"It seems to me like your jealous." I look up and see him smirking. I open my mouth to say something but he cuts me off
