Jack;

I wake up the next morning with Kali snuggled up to my chest. I look down at her and smile. She's cute when she sleeps. No jack. Stop. I know what I have to do and I can't loose focus. I slowly and quietly get up to go to the bathroom. I open her bathroom door and it creaks a little bit. I hiss hoping it didn't wake her up. I step into the bathroom and take a piss then walk back out to see Kali awake on her phone.

"Hey your up." I tell her and she looks up. "I'm a light sleeper. I woke up when you were moving." She tells me and I frown. "I'm sorry- I didn't mean to wake you." I apologize. "Don't sweat it, it's 10 o'clock anyways." She says and I look at the time. Man I thought it was like 8. I went to bed earlier than usual last night. "So what are we doing today?" I ask her. "Well I have to work from 12 to 4 today....so we could go eat before I have to leave then afterwards I'll probably go have a talk with Tyler." She tells me. "I didn't know you had a job?" I tell her. "Yeah I applied last week and said I just wanted a part time job you know only if they need me or if I'm free because I'm busy with cheer right now." She tells me and I nod. "So do you wanna go eat lunch?" I ask her and she nods. "Yeah we can meet at McAlisters at 11 sound good?" She asks and I nod. We tell each other bye and I head home to freshen up.

Kali;

I didn't know jack was gonna stay over last night, it just kind of happened. I kept waking up in the middle of the night because I always have bad dreams, so I turned and curled into his chest. He probably thought I was being clingy but I wanted to be comfortable. I just feel some kind of connection with Jack, the way he kissed me last, so slow and passionate. It made my stomach explode. He just makes me be so care free and I don't know how to explain it really but he makes me feel some type of way.

I take a quick shower and get out and quickly brush my teeth and hair. I blow dry my hair a little bit then let the rest air dry. I walk to my closet to find something to wear. They told me I could wear whatever as long as it's not trashy and what not. I check the weather and see that it's 72 degrees. Well least I won't be freezing. I decide to wear just a simple but cute outfit.

I pick a pair of dark skinny jeans with a charcoal grey v-neck with a knot at the bottom. I top it off with a light-wash jean jacket. I sit down at my dresser and begin to do a fishtail braid. I put on a little concealer, powder and a few coats of mascara to save time and add some eos lip balm to my lips. I check the time to see it 10:30. I slip on my white converse and grab my purse, phone and charger and walk down stairs. I jog down the stairs and spot jenny.

"Hey aunt jen, I gotta go to work but I'll be back around 5." I say and give her a hug. "Okay sweetie, I'm making tacos tonight by the way." She says and I jump with excitement. "Yes I love you so much!! But I gotta go love you!" I say. "Love you to" She says as I'm walking out the door. I walk down  the steps and to my car.

I pull up to the restaurant and I spot Jacks jeep. I park my car beside his and walk inside to find Jack. I see him setting at a booth. "Hey have you ordered already?" I ask as I approach him. "Oh no I was waiting on you to get here." He says and we walk up to the register. "You look great by the way." He compliments me and I look down and blush. "You do to" I say to him and begin to order.

We receive our food shortly after we order and I dive in. "You hungry?" Jack laughs at me. I hum in response. I chew my food and start a conversation. "So....about last night. What was that?" I ask jack. "What do you mean?" He asks cluelussly. "We cuddle, made out, you stayed over and-" he cuts me off. "Look kali, last night was one of the best nights I've had in a while. Just sitting there staring at the sheets above us with you was fun. You make me laugh and smile and you make me wanna be a better person. I know I said all those things to you last year but I just did that to look cool. You are an amazingly beautiful, smart, caring person and anyone would be lucky to have you." He finishes and my eyes water at his kind words. "W-wow no one's ever said stuff like that to me. Thank you jack." I blush and he reaches for my hand across the table. "Kali, I know you and tyler are having some issues and I don't know if yall will break up or what but whatever decision you make I'll respect that. "Thank you jack." I smile at him and we continue eating until I leave for work.
