Frodo finds himself walking back from the market. While he is walking back to his home, Bag End, he overhears a couple of hobbits talking about him. They are saying that Frodo is a queer and strange hobbit and that he is just as crazy as his Uncle Bilbo. Frodo takes this to heart. It hurts his feelings and he can no longer stand the awful things that the hobbits have been saying about him. He feels like some sort of outcast. Frodo walks into his home and starts to cry.
