I waited breathless hoping for the best but I heard a splash, I looked around there was no sign  of Gillian anywhere. I realized that Gillian had been thrown off of the opposite side of the ship all the hope drained out of me, Gillian had been under much to long for any type of rescue.

I didn't know what to do!

Somehow I knew inside of me that I could rescue him I mean i had to right?

what was i supposed to do?

if i didn't do something soon it would all be over just like that. What I had worked for, I left my home surely my mother would let me come back home.

Great...

so i knew what i had to do.

I dove under the ship hoping with my heart that i could avoid the razer sharp edges used to protect the large wooden boats from any shark attacks from below.

I thought I was gonna make it, i had avoided much worse obstacles before but for some reason this was different. I could't get it through my head. Why was this so different?

In a flash I saw a piece of metal coming towards me fast then faster it hit me my world turned blue, then gray, and black. This was it i had failed. two life's were lost and it was all my fault i felt my memories drifting away i felt myself saying goodbye to the world that i one knew and loved. right before my world went completely dark i saw a flash of tan skin and a white sash, maybe there still was a sliver of hope left.
